The narcissist doesn’t want to see you emotionally, mentally and physically healed. They have a deluded though patten and strongly believe they can trigger you for life. Once you have self awareness and learnt the art of not responding or reacting, the narcissist gets angry because they need your reaction. Your going to get better ❤️‍🩹 and stronger, good things will happen for you. Lazarus in the bible died and was buried in the tomb . Jesus showed up and he rose again. The narcissist has no power only evil demonic forces working behind them. Good will always conquer evil. Complete healing is your best revenge. I know the narcissist done a lot of bad things to hurt you intentionally but you can’t get even with evil. God helped me to overcome and I know he wants to support you. God feels you and loves you unconditionally. Remember you are precious and deserve better. God bless❤️

This video touched on an aspect of the narcissists illogical thinking and feeling process. They do not care about you, your well being or really you as a person. The only reason they have you in their life is to serve them. When you no longer do that they will attack you abusively with hurtful words and behavior. Once you get out of that hellish, toxic relationship you have the huge task of rebuilding yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I have been rebuilding myself for the past 2 1/2 years after a four year relationship, and it hasn't been an easy journey, but slowly but surely i am regaining the person i was prior to this toxic relationship. Thanks Stephanie for talking about this topic, and all the great information you provide for us. Be well, and i look forward to next weeks video.

Practicing self care..Throwing myself into family and work.Trying to understand and make sense of what happened. I dont think I will be able to trust again. Does it get better?? I hope so!

Robert Chodosh Thank for sharing your experience. I dated a person that seemed to be the kindness Man I have ever met in my life. I was not ready for the horrible awakening I had. Two weeks after we met, he started throwing a tantrum so bad that I was in shock, just because I was five minutes late. I tried reasoning with him to no avail. So I decided to leave, but I didn't do it. His behaviors began to escalate to the point of throwing things around and hitting furniture with his fist. I broke up with him not knowing what I was dealing with. I began to watch these videos, and I learned that I was dealing with a narcissist boyfriend. I just cut off all contact with him. Thanks.

I never heard of "narcicist" until 50 yrs after first marrying! So when I remarried, I went from dying pan into the fire! Fortunately, his mother threatened to disinherit him if he didn't divorce me. That experience was life threatening in 2 vehicular accident setups. We were abandoned @ the train station going to a family wedding in another Province. We returned home to an emptied house! I then learned to know a deeper level of God's love/daily guidance relationship than I had ever known could exist on earth! Isaiah 54 became a basis to a Victorious Life with family, friends & God! Now 81, taken for 60 with a journey of God's miracles & blessings! Philippians 4! REJOICING!

I am more than seven years out of a relationship with a narcissist who was very toxic and abusive. It does take time to heal but you will get there! Unless others understand narcissism, they will not understand what you've gone through and how it tears you down. Stephanie is right. They cannot stand for you to move on, be happy, or be a better version of you that does nothing to serve their purpose or their insatiable need for validation at your expense. They cannot stand for you to not need them and they cannot stand to see you prioritize yourself and your wellness because it means they are no longer the center of the universe.

My ex of over 4 years definitely had narcissistic traits. At the beginning, I thought he was too good to be true. Then the toxic behavior started and I wondered what happened. I dealt with it for too long, and when I called him out too much on his behavior (hoping he's realize it and change), he broke up with me instead of wanting to work on and improve himself. He was in his 50's and said he never had a relationship longer than a few years before me. Now I know why!

3:50--"I don't need your little bits of remnants or whatever your idea of a relationship is anymore." Getting breadcrumbed was getting sickening and I'm not a super needy person or anything. Eventually I just quietly left that without even give them the satisfaction of doing to tell off or even announcing I was going. I just went ghost on them and caller-blocked their phone number. (And no longer do I answer the door if they show up unannounced anymore)

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I broke up with an NPD in Jan and it was the most difficult breakup. I already carried the hardship of abandonment by my parents. I worked through that for years through therapy and education. So when I started getting devalued I saw the shift and it hurt like hell and I knew there was a change in her and wouldn’t speak about it. Her favorite thing to do was start a fight for supply, upset me and then stonewall me. This hurt even more and I wasn’t going to tolerate it because I didn’t deserve it. I deserved better. I have self love, self confidence and know my worth. I had never been disgarded by a narcissist. Thrown away like trash after you have treated her like a queen everyday. My soul broke and that abandonment was triggered. I’ve beens through a few breakups and this one by far was the hardest. It hurt to the depths of my soul that my world, my person, my best friend, my everything had literally switched and shut down completely. I watched her completely change into someone I didn’t want to know. I was destroyed that she had been a totally different person that I fell in love with and she’s perfect at lovebombing. She got me. Then she discarded me a year and a half later. My ego took a mad hit and I was completely lost at how and why she changed so drastically. I came across NPD searching for answers. EVERY SINGLE CHECK MARK. It all made sense and I saw her for who she was. She had become someone I didn’t want to know because she was disfunctional and become toxic. I realized I was a supply. Well I now understand all of it and I’m healing and moving on. She gets no more positive supply or any supply from me. It took me months of working on myself and getting off the hampster wheel. I’m happy, I’m healthy and have moved on and permantely disconnected. Thank you for this video and all of your videos. You’ve helped me heal and process everything and I couldn’t thank you enough. I’m finally free and I feel so amazing. THANK YOU STEPHANIE. Gratitude. Love and light.

Oh man, I've read your comment and felt compassion for you. I went almost through the same thing. It's been a year and 5 months after the break-up (or should I call it "break-free"), and the thing I struggle still is the anger I feel when there are flashbacks coming. We talk a lot about male NPDs, but I think there are as many female NPDs as male ones and females I think are much more dangerous. Psychological violence! I've moved on too, thank god 🙏 Be strong and never let her come back !

Brother I feel your pain . I had the most amazing relationship for 14 years this woman was pure extasy and she treated me like a king I walked around in a daze so love struck . Then one day it changed she started talking about other men I was like if your going to be with me I don't want to here it well she branded me on spot as a jeslouse fool . I had never accused her and wanted her to go places she would go shopping or wherever she would call me tell where she was and when she would be home . The crazy thing about it she was so beautiful I should have been jeslouse but the way she loved me I was secure and confident . We would go to get grocies and men would be breaking there neck stareing at her she never noticed it till I pointed it out we would laugh about it . Well about 2 years ago my hips started going bad from hill running I was addicted to working out she all the sudden because I needed hip replacement surgery this was happing during covid I was in some ways afraid to have surgery she advised me not 2 and never done one thing to help me well I figured out she was seeing someone she would get angry and turn it on me my heart was broke and I was a wreck mentally but I could not give her up . I had went from a happy positive person to setting in bed all day crying I could not quit I just could not believe this perfect woman was now evil . Once I saw heaven in her eyes now it's the devil and as long as she knows I'm in pain she is happy now I'm trying to pull myself out of this aweful place and when she sees me doing better she want talk to me I've got to get help don't see any other way out this narriccest hell it sure has took the life out of me I will say this a normal person if they find someone else they show have the guts to tell you face to face especially after 16 years if they can't do that you don't need them period.

The one thing that was said here that I think can be a slippery slope is the issue of: I am not the problem, you are! I am right and you are wrong, I am okay and you are not. I have a problem with this kind of thinking because it can easily lead to feeling like you were victimized instead of fully trying to understand the things within yourself that drew you in and kept you in such an unhealthy situation for you to engage in. And chances are, this is not the only relationship in your life like this. Until you understand what brought you there I think it is easy to keep repeating the same misguided thinking, coming from ourselves.

Great video, i particularly liked 3:40 talking about the void. That’s how narcissist get rooted into your soul, they interview you and make notes of what your void fears are then pretending to be the solution. Instead of resolving that void you rely on them, that’s the danger and that’s how they affect you so bad later on.

A key thing to learn as well, is that a narcissist uses what you tell them about yourself, against you in the discard stage. My partner previous to her had a miscarriage and my narcissist ex suddenly sprung on me, months after brutally discarding me, that she had sadly had a miscarriage as well... knowing that it would hurt me. I didn't realise what was happening at the time, but I see now that she literally used my past against me to hurt me and bring me back down, when she learned that I was doing fine without her. Sick sick people.

Oh boy am I finding this to be true this week! I'm moving on, working on myself, trying to become the fun loving big personality I used to be before I was abused to the point of self harm because he would shout at me for no reason so I turned on myself as well. It went on for a couple of years. Now that I'm working on my fitness again, wearing make up, looking for a job, moving away, he's gone berserk and is thrashing out saying and doing absolutely anything to get some kind of reaction. It's actually scary.

I was discarded after 14 years. I was starting to cut it off because I couldn't take his abuse but I stills couldn't see the whole truth. I never saw it as a compliment. Thank you for saying this! That statement is empowering. Sadly I couldn't let him go and begged for 7 months. But thank God!!!! I finally said enough and a sweet good man from my past came in...and I have moved. Now he keeps contacting me. I don't react to his crazy self anymore.

Thank you Stephanie! Your videos have been a massive help! After watching your videos, I’ve massively improved. I had a very toxic relationship, I came from a place of low self-esteem and no boundaries, and now I’ve detoxed myself from the ex, no contact for 2 months. He texted me (he was bored and lonely 100%) and I ignored! I wouldn’t be able to do it without the education I had.

So what I’m getting from this video is that a healthy person won’t feel the need for resentment or want to see the narcissist do bad? So I definitely need a lot of work because I don’t want to see him do better because he treated me like poop and it’s not fair to see him do well.

I was in my 3y old relationship and I didn't know what was wrong, I always blamed me for every bad thing that hapened and I was so confused, until I find one of your videos about codependency in wich you said something about narcissist partners. This is how I find out that I am codependent and he is a narcissist. Wow. It was mindblowing. Video after video I started to believe that, and I finally got my final reason to leave him- he will never change. Thank you so much! I broke up with him 2 months ago. Now I watch your codependency videos to get over it and live my life! Thank you!!!!!

The narcissist will never play fair, it’s all about control. The narcissist will paint a picture of abuse behind the scenes. I highly recommend if you Ex wife lawyer is a female get a male lawyer. Keep your distance and try not to respond or react to mind games or manipulation. Be careful of mutual friends, some are flying monkeys 🐒. Prayers do help, read Psalm 35 daily. I pray in Jesus name the delay be broken over your case. May you rightfully receive what belongs to you and more.

I agree with your point in reference to friends of a Narcissist (they acquire pleasure in seeing others fail or suffer) , although in a relationship, its not usually the case. They ultimately are seeking happiness but aren‘t successful in doing so, therefore they tend to blame their partner for their suffering. Bringing them down with them (wishing they were as miserable as they are). Being the victim & drawing from past events which may have occurred years ago, which they felt were the reason for their depression or suffering.
