I actually called the customer to make sure I didn’t make a mistake and sent the wrong pump. But I didn’t.

Nice work on the sticks there Bill. That one was super tight!!! What we've found comes in real handy for jobs just like this is having a single-ended 20 foot length of 4 inch hose on the rig. We began carrying them years ago and its amazing how much use we get out of them. Also very handy for when we're just a smidge short of reach... which is seemingly always 🤣 Great video guys. Loving the mid-week content! 👍👍👍

We carry a 20’ section of 3” on there. But they didn’t bring the right batch design for it. We didn’t know what we where getting into until Bill pulled up to the job. I actually called the customer to make sure I didn’t make a mistake and send the wrong pump.

Thats standard stuff here in New Zealand most pumps carry at least 1 longish hose

We carry one but we have to change the batch design to fit it. That’s if we get a heads up on the type of job we are doing.

@MuddyfeetConcretePumping we are lucky here most mixes can push through a 3.5" hose. We use a steel reducer and 4" end hoses, and carry 3.5" longer lengths. What ate your mixes like over there? Would they not pump through a 3.5"?😊

We went to a job like that once, the pump was there but couldn't do it because they had the wire netting already over the perlins. We tailgated the whole floor..it wasn't easy getting in and out.

So they ordered the wrong type of pump and they only ordered three trucks when they needed roughly three and a half doesn't say much for that contractor

Most contractors order on the tens and tag back the remaining balance. This is normal practice.
