This concert is from December 2009 at River Platte Stadium in Buenos Aires Argentina and there were 200,000 people in attendance. December is also summer in the southern hemisphere, which is probably why shirts were optional 😂 Highway To Hell was written by the late Bon Scott and is a reference to the Canning Highway in Western Australia, which is where Bon Scott lived in Fremantle. Great reaction guys 👍🤘✌️

From the earliest day of the band the lead guitarist ("Angus Young") dressed up in a little school boy short pants uniform. Why because he just looked the part. Suggested by his older sister if I remember correctly. He demonstrate so much energy through out a concert, that you can get exhausted just watching Him. GREAT REACTION FOLKS. I discovered AC/DC while serving overseas in 1978 in West Germany, there were two Germanys back then, anyways I saw AC/DC live in 1979 with their original singer Bon Scott at an open-air concert in Nuremberg, Germany. Open-air concerts were all day and night, opening with local bands, and finishing with a major rock band, at this concert that was the band The Who. The craziest thing about this concert it took place at the same stadium were the Nazi's held their rallies back in 1930's.

AC/DC is basically like a jam session on a stage with a massive crowd. There's no pandering to the crowd, it's just them being them rocking out. They're impossible not to like..... Oh, this has probably been mentioned, but the horns were purely for the song being the highway to hell and all. Back in the day Angus (the guitar playing dancing around with his shirt off) wore like a private school uniform as his outfit for the most part.

Angus Young and his brother Malcolm are from Scotland (they moved to Australia later) Brian Johnson (singer) is from Newcastle England. ACDC comes from the electrical tag on Angus and Mal's sisters sewing machine, (sitting in the room while deciding a name). The school boy outfit was just one of many "gimmicks" they tried in 1973 to gain momentum. Dressing in drag, and even a full gorilla suit was tried first. Bon Scott (another Scotland born transplant to Aussie) was their lead singer from 1974 -1980 This is when they gained their initial stardom. Their first singer, Dave Evans, disappeared without any recordings for the band. Cliff Williams (bass) and Phil Rudd (drums) are the only 2 true Aussies here, and this is decades after their peak. The #1 true Rock Band ever.

It's _so_ heartwarming and cool to see the younger generations discovering and loving the older bands that I grew up with! Goes to show this kind of music never dies - it just gets a new batch of fans. You guys had a great reaction - and yeah, ACDC concerts and other older rock groups still going, their crowds are always insane in numbers and participation! And unlike how the media liked to portray them, rock and heavy metal is some of the _safest_ concerts to go to - the general crowd and the bands really care and look out for everyone, and the bands will even stop concerts to ensure their fans are doing okay or get them help if needed. It's _so_ nice to see and shows that they really don't deserve the reputation forced upon them. They might sing about the devil and stuff but that doesn't mean they're bad or "evil" people. Not even remotely. Enjoyed watching your young daughter's reactions! Her facial expressions were highly entertaining to witness lol :D Question: Did you name her after the singer Lulu Kennedy-Cairns? Cos if so I applaud you both! She's one of my absolute all-time favourite female singers! Plus, it's a pretty name that I personally think should make a come-back!

If you ever saw AC~DC at the MTV Music Awards, they play this at a lower speed than usual... They were basically doing a favour to the awards by showing up in the first place but they were ordered by the suits that they only had a set amount of time to play their couple songs, and then told they had to get off the stage for "more important acts". Basically, play your two songs, and f*ck off. AC~DC cranked their speed down so they took up more time as a middle finger to the egos in charge... and they also showed up every single act there as well by being the most talented guys in the room. They're Gods amongst wannabes, and they proved it.

A big hug for you my friends!!....No one better than you, to make a reaction video and analyze this incredible singer who is leaving all the experts, literally with their jaws on the floor (Do you remember Jim Carrey's movie "The Mask"? well, just like that)...In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"...Since then all this madness began on the internet, KZfaq and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano...You can see in KZfaq to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide... Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality...kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mKqIZqmZ0t-ykZc.html

At least four of AC/DC's members, including the Young brothers, are actually Scottish. They immigrated to Australia. To be fair though, that is where they started the band and the rest of the members are Aussies. Their main magic was that Angus could play some creative pentatonic solos really fast, their original singer Bon Scott wrote some genuinely bad boy rock and roll lyrics, Brian Johnson (shown here) picked up the mantle after Scott's death and did just as well, and most importantly, Malcolm Young's incredible riffs. He could do more with three chords than most guys could do with all of them. His uncanny ability to make so much out of so little is seen since his death and AC/DC's attempts to write without him (read as: it sounds like a very cheap imitation of their own music). Malcolm was AC/DC and is probably the best rhythm guitarist who ever lived. He was certainly the most creative. Dirty Deeds and Hell's Bells are great examples. Honestly, I think only Noddy Holder and Brad Whitford can even come close. Maybe Nasty Suicide, but that's, I think, being generous.

AC/Dc were formed in Australia by the Young brothers who had emigrated from Scotland with their parents. The singer in this video is Brian Johnston who took over from Bon Scott when he passed away. Brian Johnston is from the North East of England and is a Geordie. Unfortunately we lost Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar) not long ago. This song was written by Bon Scott in the early 1970s. He once told the band that if anything happened to him they should hire Brian as his replacement so they did and carried on to even greater success than they had already enjoyed.

Forget their age, they are musicians...... musicians don’t normally lose their talent or skill unless by injury or drugs. I have seen an unknown sax player in his 70’s hitting every note perfectly while drunk ( leg less), then fall over backwards slamming his head into the floor...... he didn’t miss a note and continued playing without mistake from the floor until the song ended. That is what real musicians do....... without computers for pitch and tone correction and now we have cheap affordable computers that actually play and sing for you...... even in the recording studio. Right from the start , once they hired Bon Scott as lead singer, the band rocked with HIGH energy...... all live performances started off dressed but as Bon and Angus started to drip perspiration the shirts were removed. Have a look at some videos from the 1970’s, live at the Apollo. I suggest Let There Be Rock as a starter. Then maybe A Long Way To The Top, Dirty Deeds and TNT.

@@jonathanbouthillette753 True. The Youngs moved to Australia when Angus was about 7. I’m 2 years older and remember the subsidised emigrations to the Antipodes. They would charge a family £10 to go. Angus and Malcolm were part of that. Bon was fabulous. I remember seeing him carry Angus round on his shoulders. Bon was a candle that burned too bright. Brian is like your great singing, cool racing driver uncle.

Just for understanding, AC/DC are billed as Australian and did form there, but only one of them, the drummer was born in Australia, Brian Johnson (vocals) is from county Durham, England, the Young brothers (Malcolm and Angus) are from Glasgow (Malcolm has since died) Scotland, and the bass player Cliff Williams is from Romford in England, their original vocalist Bon Scott was also from Scotland and he even played bagpipes and featured them on one of their early hits ("It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll").

now that you all have taken the "Highway to Hell" with AC/DC you might consider taking the "Stairway to Heaven" with the greatest band that has ever existed - Led Zeppelin. I would suggest the 1973 live @ madison square garden concert

The song actually has nothing to do with hell. It was written about when they came to the states in 1978. They had to use a not so great tour bus to get to the gigs that's it as simple as that you can put it together a highway to hell. They opened for a kiss for a few dates and blew them away.🔥⚡

Makes me wish Freddie was still around, cos him and Queen would absolutely have to be added to that list if he were still here rocking out. Makes me also wonder how Queen's music might have changed throughout the 2000's and what style they'd be doing today - or if they'd still be making new stuff or just doing concerts of their "classics".
