Maybe he’s been offered contracts but isn’t trying to be so famous he and his wife can’t get out and interact with small crowds and keep faith alive in people. Probably makes a decent living doing this and Spotify, KZfaq and gramming. If money is not the only thing driving you you can have an amazing life doing what you want on your terms.

Yessah! Me too, the first one I've seen today and I am coke hooked also. Watching him getting all the different rhythms going in Tennessee whisky and having Vere Hill come up and join in. I was going to go to his site to hear him sing more and he said he's from New Hampshire where I am, born and raised and I saw this amazing music man and the titles of his other videos and I had to see them! To be honest,I bet this man was upset at this white man making a living on black music. He has talent,sure,but also be aware that you're singing music from another culture. Gotta be sensitive to how people can see your musical hustle as cultural appropriation. That's most likely why more people didn't stop. The beat of a drum is enough for us to sing our songs and dance to the beat that led our Ancestors into War or into Ceremony. Songs that are thousands of years old. These Street Musicians may not get paid millions for their performance and their music might not reach the ears of millions but they persist and chase their dream because in their hearts they know they deserve to be heard.

The lines of diversity can be seen diminishing before my very eyes with this one! I'm the mother of a half Caucasian half African American daughter. Sadly she passed away after being hit by a drunk driver at the age of 5, in 1999. I used to tell her that I wish I could live to the day that race wasn't even something you could decipher in people, and in her 4 and 5 year old, wide eyed, innocent demeanor, she would ask so sweetly "Momma, why does it matter?"

I agree with you I don't think most people realize how hard what he does is and to do it on the fly like this and all the time and dedication he and his wife have put in to have these live performances. Sad but it's the world we live in these days but there are still those of us that can recognize the sheer and pure God giving talent this man has and chooses to share it with the world for free or at the will of those watching and listening to tip or donate for his cause. I'm just amazed by him and so glad to see that there are still such amazing good hearted people in this rough world we live in today. Please don't ever stop and don't ever let anyone or anything bring you down. My husband is a musician so I have a strong appreciation of musicians. This is wonderful! Truly! If we were walking by hubby would have frozen, tuned everyone else out and been watching each guitar pick! If my hair was on fire he wouldn’t have even seen it. He freezes into the music. I don’t even walk into his studio. His only request when we bought a house was a personal space for just music gear, writing etc. He has that! I can’t wait to show him this video! Great job!!!
