They took away the buccaneers darts with this upgrade in btd6
No longer can you have cannons and dart boats in Bloons TD 6
Is this change a buff or a nerf for the bucaneer in btd6?
The grape shot damage has been increased but darts are gone!
Can we beat 2 Megapops Achievement in BTD6 with the new boat?

The description of grapeshot says sharpened grapes so that may be why you could apply sharpening stones

@@harmoen the grapes are fire damage type but sharpening stone only affects sharp damage type projectiles

@@mrcatfacecatyou're right, I think it's just an oversight by NK. They probably just made it so the dart doesn't actually fire instead of properly removing it from the tower

@@mrcatfacecatoh yeah your right, the flaming hot rang upgrade makes the sharpening stone not work, it may be because ninja kiwi forgot that the remover the dart for cannon ship.

So it looks like they updated the grape damage along with the damage over time to make the one extra grape still worth after losing the darts, or at least I'd imagine that was their logic with that. However, given that the darts fired along its primary aiming path it was more guaranteed damage as opposed to the spray of the grape shot which might explain why you feel like it is doing less even though the damage may be the dame or even higher with the new version. It's like when a super is chasing because the bloons are too fast all the extra damage doesn't matter if it whiffs.

makes more sense to drop the darts for the cannons the two darts did have more pierce i think so it is possible it has been nerfed down

His dart canons are replaced with canonball canons thats why it doesn't shoot darts after canonship

with the monkey knowledge, setting the buc to "last" prio has it shoot 10% faster, great with grapes where the accuracy doesnt matter as much!

They made some very questionable changes this update and imo an amazing couple and a couple negative. But we all know the Gwen and wizard buff most likely will be toned down and the bad ones will remain useless now. I'm mainly disappointed in Ben's early game. There's no reason to choose ben over geraldo now, geraldo does everything better from a higher lvl play. Geraldo shouldn't make more than him from 1-40, that's Ben's niche helping you with great income early early on.
