If you think that was a big crowd, then I recommend you checkout their concert from 1991 in Moscow. Supposedly 1.6 million Russians attended that show!

My all-time favorite Metallica song...the riff...the lyrics...the energy. I'm a veteran so this song hits home

My nephew wore a Master of Puppets album art shirt to school with the track list on the back on a free dress day (kids have to wear uniforms to school in Australia) & he was told to turn it inside out because the teacher deemed it to be "disrespectful to veterans" and as a 13 year old he said that Disposable Heroes was a pro veteran song & against the way they're treated by those who send them off to war for their own selfish causes. She didn't like being told that so she sent him home. He earned some Metal cred in his Uncle's Bank of Metalness account that day. Anyways, thankyou for your service 🤘

I always say some people are still alive and in one piece because I listen to metal. It’s a great outlet for energy and frustration. It’s my get up and go on the way to work to mentally prepare and my detox for after work on the ride home.

Oh they are still touring. They only stopped for COVID and even then managed to do some live stream shows. Even at nearly 60y they are almost touring back to back. They just stared their US tour last month the moment COVID restrictions permitted it. And they are going right into an Europe one. Metallica was born from touring. They stated by going out on gigs and giving out small recordings to club fans. In fact they are successful enough not to have to play a live show ever again, but they are still giving their all. In 2019 they played in Manchester UK in the pouring/freezing rain. Kirk(lead guitar) looked completely drenched and frozen but still played his heart out on that stage.

You picked a good live video to react to! I watched another person react to this and then I ended up going and watching the entire show for this. Love Metallica! I’ve been a die hard fan since 1985! They are and always will be great live! Last time I saw them live was in 2018! Still kicking ass in their mid 50s!!!!!

The shows are amazing. Expect 20-25 songs, between 2&1/2 and 4 hours, a bass solo, a guitar solo, possibly a drum battle, and at least 2 encores of 2-3 songs each. Don’t let the house lights coming on the first time fool you, the show ain’t done yet….

I have seen Metallica a few times. They take their shows very serious, they always start on time, they do much longer shows than most other acts, and they go all out on every song. It seems the want to go way above everyone's expectations.

The band members are pushing 60 so they don't do as many shows as when they were in their 20s and 30s but you got to admire their energy. Nothing like it was in the old days but damn good nevertheless.

What blows my mind with all the flexing in hip hop, how few if any do stadium tours like rock metal bands. Also if you ever get the chance to go see Metallica, do it, worth the money IMO.

All metal in the &0’s was party songs and power ballads about some chick played by dudes in spandex and blouses who humped mic stands for some reason. . Then, Metallica shows up playing all pissed off and ugly about real shit. Suddenly, glam metal bands start to die off. I’ll always love them for that. They literally saved music for a generation.

Well, Metallica IS the biggest selling metal band of all time, so if there's a band that would "turn" you, this would be the one.

You should react to Rage against the Machine - Wake up, Bulls on Parade or Killing in the Name. Or to Bodycount. Not only because what they stand for. Also because their genre wich is called crossover. A mix of Rap/Hip Hop and Metal.

Age is really catching up with them. They should of used 5 of those years touring to make 3 more albums.

This to me is a prime example of a person that can never be pleased. they have been performing and making music for 42 fucking years…. 11 live albums….endless access to see them live. And yet here we sit listening to you whine in the comments that they wasted 5 years and you wanted more in that time period.
@timm_3r

Take it easy, princess. No need to be all upset because someone expects more from a band that release 3 albums every decade and tours the rest of their lives away because they make more money from shows than recordings. In case you haven't noticed their last 4 albums stunk.

You ruined the reaction by looking down at the lyrics, lyrics DO NOT MATTER when you are reacting to a LIVE video! The point of watching a LIVE video is to WATCH what is happening on stage! Thumbs down! In the future when reacting to a LIVE video, watch the video and add your comments about the lyrics in the edit AFTER watching it
