I can't explain how much I hate this tired old disingenuous bluster about there not being a white history month. March is Irish American and Greek American month. April is Scottish American month. May is Jewish American month. June is Nordic Heritage month. July is French American month. October is German American, Italian American, Polish American, and European American month. And this information can easily be found with a 5 minute Web search. However, they wouldn't know this because it isn't something they care enough about to spend that 5 minutes looking into. Instead it's just a dog whistle they use to moan about America becoming less white and pretend that white people are the ones who are "really" discriminated against. As the saying goes, "To those accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression." Oh, and by the way April is Arab American month, May is AAPI months, June is Caribbean American month, September is Hispanic American month, October is Filipino American month, and November is Native American month.

To be clear, Italian history month is in October and centers around Columbus Day (an Italian.) Any kid growing up in an authentic Italian household knows that, especially ones in big cities. This guy clearly grew up in a quintessential white america household and is trying to use the fact his grandfather was a quarter italian as a tool against black people. If he cared about his heritage then he'd actually care about Italian history month. He doesn't but wants to tell people who do care about their heritage that its wrong for them to have a month.

Their complaints about Black History month have nothing to do with wanting a white history month but just a way to cry and wail about America becoming less white and pretend that whites are the ones who are "really" being discriminated against.
