I was so hoping that Biden would do the honourable thing, be a one-term president who saved the country, and then open up the Primary to younger Democrats. I was disappointed by his decision… but now I’m horrified. Especially with the right-wing Supreme Court’s recent ruling on ‘Presidential Powers’!

I voted for Biden in 2020 thinking he would be a one-term, transitional President despite my reservations about his age back then. It's now become somewhat of a real dilemma for me with his re-election in 2024. In the end, I think Trump will help secure Biden's election win in 2024 just like he probably did in 2020.

I appreciate that view. But Cenk won’t treat Biden with an ounce of respect whether he drops out or not. He’s enjoying being “right” too much. Some of his statements are facts, some are opinions, but he states his opinions as cold hard facts and then insults TYT viewers who aren’t in lock step with his opinions and positions 100%. He’s just as bad or worse than the politicians and adjacent people he complains about having huge egos.

I disagree with Cenk. I have been deeply moved by the string of excuses for Biden's debate performance. James Clyburn blamed it on "preparation overload." The Biden family blamed it on the debate preparation team. Biden blamed it on insufficient time to recover from a trip to Europe. These excuses are certain to defeat Trump.

At this point, they (the Democratic Party establishment) are not deciding IF he will drop out. They are determining HOW he will drop out, specifically what reasons they will give for his exit. They are also trying to come up with a nominee better than Harris.

"Announcing" the 25th amendment is not how it works. Tap in to the amendments to the Constitution online and go to the one marked "25th". You can read it yourself and see what it says that way. Rather than guessing.
