What about turning on "RESTRICT BACKGROUND DATA" with regard to Data Usage. Does this affect all programs running in the background, or just unnecessary bloatware? Recently my AT&T Data Plan has been reaching depletion before the end of the billing cycle, and I'm not using the NOTE 2 any more than usual. Will turning on "RESTRICT BACKGROUND DATA" save me from using up excess data?

interesting ;) thx. now i have a question: with the app "taskiller" i see on my sony experia z2 that i have 3 gig ram and the taskiller is sometimes reporting that i have available free less than 1 gig ram.. doesnt that 2 gig ram thats somewhere in use take up battery life ???

I keep getting the unable to complete due to low memory when I try to attach a picture in twitter. My Andriod Z981 is up to date. Has half the memory available. Don't keep activities in the Apps section of Developer option is not checked. Logger buffer sizes are set 256K. Also, get---- Unfortunately Android System has stopped. Any thoughts?

If you have an LG Stylo the developer options are unavailable. Navigate to Settings > About phone > Software info then tap Build number 7 times. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings > Developer options

Go to Settings -> About then tap "Build Number" 7 times or just keep taping until it says you are now in developer more. Similar to performance options on windows.

i am totally flummoxed as to how to set up and use my noria tablet. A tech told me it was connected to my computer, but the tablet says no connection, and the setup wizard says it can't do it. any help,PLEASE?

Tap About phone. Tap Android version for 7 times. Once you reached the 7th times, you’ll see the “You are now a developer” message appears on screen. But, to Hide it, you have to do a factory reset, (If you do it all the data and apps will be erased and phone will be just new)
