Well unfortunately the time has come that the dover vanities at denver international airport receive a full modernization by tke. I’m very thankful this mod was done by tke because it could’ve been so much fucking worse if it was done by schindler or some other cheap company. Although this mod was done for a relatively good reason, these things have received a lot of use over the years and it just got to a point where they needed an upgrade.

I'm not really a huge fan of the LCD indicators in the sense that if there's an electrical issue with the elevator, it takes a painfully long time to reset cuz there's all this software installed for the backdrops and synchronization with the elevator's current position. As far as I know, with ACME and dot matrix, they reset almost instantly.

You’re not alone at 1:34. I just caught a Schindler 6400 doing the same thing (it had the same MAD LCD indicator)

TBH I liked the old bell chime as it was the orginal dover chime
