This video features evening action in the Browns Yard area with two Conrail locals: SA-22 and SA-31. First, we follow SA-22 along the Gillespie Branch, where they use NS GP38-2 5285 to drill gondolas at CMC Steel and pick up a tank car from Ashland/Hercules. After watching SA-22 complete their work on the Gillespie, we head over to the Dayton Branch to find SA-31 among the myriad of buildings in the Heller Industrial Park. We found them gearing up to serve Sappi Fine Paper with CSX GP40-2 4408; the delivery consisted of one Pan Am Railways box car. I accomplished two railfan goals with this video by chasing SA-22 and catching SA-31 working Sappi.
