Wow this brings it all back! Saw them four times, and Phil was the best. He owned the stage and the crowd, and the band always put on a great show. My favourites to this day, nobody comes close.

Wow I was at this gig and remember phil saying it was being filmed. He was telling jokes while he said they were putting new film in the camera's. Great too see it again , it was a fantastic gg

this is a haunting melody, though very beautiful,that is harmonized .

What makes the harmonies in Renegade so special is the fact that they are not "linear". Everyone with two guitars can play harmonies that are linearily always thirds. But here, the interval between the two guitar lines changes in the course of the phrase. This gives a very special mood to it. It's comparable to the ending phrase of "California Hotel", which is also very elaborated.
