A lot of the voice actors have Broadway backgrounds. Carmilla, for example, was the original Mimi in RENT. Lilli Cooper (Velvette) is also an amazing singer and I am so happy to see Hazbin Hotel spotlighting her voice. You should look up her rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls and It Feels Good.

Oh yeah everyone on the show is mad talented, most of them are straight from Broadways musical scene. A few of the actors in this are also in Helluva Boss. Specifically Alex Brightman who voices both Adam and Sir Pentious in Hazbin Hotel, and Fizarolli (and his robotic replicas like the one in "Loo Loo land") in Helluva Boss. And James Monroe Igelhart who voices Zestial in Hazbin Hotel and 2 characters in Helluva Boss. Vortex (aka the bulky hellhound guy from episode 3) and another big character who is in episodes you havent reached yet. Alex Brightman is mostly known for being Beetlejuice in the Beetlejuice musical as well as in recent TV appearances, and James Monroe Igelhart is the actor for the Genie in the Aladdin musical on broadway. Also yeah your gameplan with reactions seems good. Helluva Boss is on a bit of a hiatus right now with Hazbin Hotel releasing. Afaik the next episode, aka Season 2 episode 8 out of 12 is supposed to be released at some point during spring, and after that its back to a new episode every 2-3 months.

This episode seems to branch some interesting things with an overlord being a mother to two children and make you wonder on how they end up down there. To make you wonder on the whole Vaggie being an army general when she was alive?

Just to clear some things up: Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) is in no way related to Aleister Crowley (Crazy cultist guy). Alastor was a radio host, serial killer, and cannibal. Aleister did a bunch of drugs and used "mysticism" as an excuse to have orgies. Alastor was born in, and died in, the USA. Aleister was born in, and died in, the UK. Alastor died from being shot in the head after being mistaken for a deer while hiding the body of his latest victim. Aleister died in bed at the age of 75, most likely from a combination of prolonged drug use, age, and chronic STDs.

I have a theory that Vaggie and Carmilla were at one point intended to be mother and daughter, and that's why they have all these parallels and stuff, but they later scrapped that storyline and gave her a different backstory instead
