My mom is the one getting the items in the last minute and I start to put the things on the counter. And it's very awkward when your mom still isn't back by the time the items are done scanning.(Because I don't have the money to pay for the groceries)

I think my mom intentionally gets lost, so that she can go crazy in the produce department. My mother is part rabbit, vegetables are her life. Vegans love her, until they find out she eats meat then they're left scratching their heads trying to figure out how a 61 year old who eats meat could maintain such a high energy level, hahahaha.

OMG, Andrew, you are so kind and patient with your mom and she really enjoyed shopping with you! I’m a 72 year old African American great grandma and I did the same things with my son and grandsons at the market. I think it’s a universal “mom” thing. By shopping with me they learned how to shop for meat and groceries, which years later they have not regretted.
