Great video brother, I’m indian decent raised in the USA. This probably the most important video for Indians to watch. We need to raise more awareness there in matters relating to hygiene, pollution, littering, politeness, animal cruelty. Westerners can definitely help guide India in these matters. It is a transitional society, but things sure can improve!

Watching you take everything in like a sponge with your senses as your throwing yourself into fast paced and stacked experiences that hightens feelings of a tidbit anxiety/hopefullness/educated/andfullyfucking inspired. Also interacting with many people but change of the interaction, what you say, constant kindness throughout each time. It's showing you handling something uncomfortable but literally proving it is what you make it in a way. This was an admirably good one to put out there in the world thankyou🖖🖖

Man I admire your patience and your ability to seemingly enjoy a leisurely stroll in such a hectic environment, it says allot about a person's character when they can generate and maintain a sense of content optimism when it seems like most of everything and everyone around have little to no intent of, at the very least striving to attain even just a step in the direction of a mutually open and harmonious community. I have noticed at times that its difficult for me to cultivate a genuine positive mindset when everything our society does feels like it's working towards creating and maintaining the many conflictions that are a hindrance to human consciousness and spirituality. Even in apart of the world that has culturally achieved many great milestones in human spirituality. Can anyone else relate or am I on my own ? How can one overcome this obstacle?

When you said animal cruelty I was like 😲 I didn't expect that one at all. I guess because I've heard about how they treat cows as sacred. The trash and piss everywhere along with the pollution makes me curious about how it smells. I can easily understand why all of the things you mentioned are things you don't like about it. I love the way you handled the situation when that guy was following you. You were straight forward and to the point. I've known for a long while now that you are not a pushover and feel that is a really good thing, especially in those kind of situations. You handled that very well & I admire that very much 😍 You are the only person I watch that travels through india and so I haven't heard any of the horror stories. The only thing I heard from any females was on your channel when Klara and Stephi had their experience of being glared at and spit on. Thumbs up (as always) & I'm sending you love ~ 💖 ~

I've seen a dog in India give birth under a car and the locals happily throw large rocks are the puppies while the mother tried to move them somewhere else. During kite season people use kite string coated in glass to cut down other kites, this easily removed wings from birds which is very common. I've seen a small girl, on the back of a motorbike with her father, get caught in this and she was killed fast. India has potential but not many care to achieve it

As an Indian i can tell you Americans glorify india, and there are some harsh realities in a lot of parts there. A lot of so called spiritual people also use the cast system to humiliate people. Also the hate for dark skinned people is very visible, but that being said there are a lot of amazing places also but most of those places are away from the big city where most tourist might not have access to. I grew up in south india with someof the most amazing landscapes.

India's also has the lowest consumption of meat per-capita in the whole world. Most of "beef" is actually buffalo meat in India. I agree with most of the points you made but India meat consumption habits is best in the world. More than 40% are pure vegetarians and rest of them consume very less amount of meat compared to any country in the world.

@@kyra7428 Right blaming them in the hope they will fix it. The government is not forcing people to litter, nor are they the ones littering. If the people truly cared they would find a way not to do it. It's the same as in places like New York, Mexico City, St. Petersburg, etc. If people cared their cities would not be so dirty. Where I live it is not dirty, and we do not have lots of places to throw trash. The infrastructure is made by the people. Excuses, excuses.

Although you think that India is responsible for this plight, it could be said the West is responsible in some way for all the things you hate. The trash is a modern thing with all the plastic that was brought there by modern society. Before it got pillaged and plundered for all it's natural resources and left without finished sewers and their beautiful culture turned into trash dumps, India was a paradise, where even the poorest of people was decked in gold and had all facilities to thrive internally with all economic benefits being recycled internally. The poor people now are drunks and thieves who prey on women and tourists. It's deplorable for sure, but try to see the reasons......Radhe! Raadhe!

Some Indians ruin India for everyone. Not just foreign tourists but even most of us local tourists feel creeped out by the weird shady people we come across during our travel. These are the same kind of people who would text girls desperately on Facebook with messed up grammar. They're illiterates and the last thing they are taught is cleanliness, hygiene and to respect tourists. They harass you, follow you around, make you feel uncomfortable, pee and spit everywhere and make you feel shitty for being a part of this country. But trust me, not everyone is like this, you will find some really cool, intellectual and interesting people here, in the non shady parts of India. Travel Safe Dakotee, hope to meet you here in India some day and change your perspective about the people here and help you recognize the different crowd that we come across while travelling. I am an Indian and I completely agree to what you are saying here..For a matter of fact, Indians see it too but overlook it. The real beauty of this country gets overshadowed by trash everywhere, people spitting tobacco here and there, sick minded men's behaviour which make not just women but men uncomfortable too. I feel disgusted too. But things are now changing for good. Visit Indore and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, the cities which emerged and recognized as the cleanest cities of India under 'Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan' (Clean India Movement). Problems are being worked on. Anyways I love all your videos and I resonate with you everytime. Please do not stop coming to India. I wish I could meet you someday.

It's not chewing tobacco per say, though it can contain some if you ask for it. It's actually a delicious little mouth freshner called "Paan". Try it, your taste buds will melt. Better than the shitty gums that we have here.

It’s not Tobacco it’s called Paan. also spelled pan, also called betel quid, an Indian after-dinner treat that consists of a betel leaf (Piper betle) filled with chopped betel (areca) nut (Areca catechu) and slaked lime (chuna; calcium hydroxide), to which assorted other ingredients, including red katha paste. Usually people just chew on it and then spit it out. It’s not good to digest. Their are certain paans that are safe to digest. They are called meeta(sweet) paan.

It's like you're a famous person walking around. You're being supernice to people. Westerners rarely say hello to each other in the streets, in my experience. The coldness is particularly noticeable in Nordic countries were I live. Here, If you greet strangers too much they'll think you're either a weirdo or on drugs! I wonder, do the guys following you ever get physical, do you ever have to defend yourself in any way?

Don't forget the general lack of cleanliness in restaurant kitchens etc. Also, having to use my bare hand to wipe my ass in a squalid public toilet with only a tap, a bucket of water and a hole in the ground 😂

I'm British (Indian) and what you've said is EXACTLY what I said about India when I visited! And you forgot to add about the fires as well which add to the pollution. The only place I saw no trash was in Chandigarh which felt like England to me...didn't even feel like I was in India!

Speaking of pollution, per capita, the west polluted far more than India. Plus some of the manufactured goods are exported to the west. Hence part of the pollution ought to be assigned to the west.

In Italy too the animal neglect is very high, it's very surprising. Same with the littering, even around ancient holy sites. I think as Americans littering and animal care are things we're used to our society valuing highly, whereas Europe and Asia it seems to be less emphasized in some nations
