-I agree that the game should have had an option to back out of the Dragoon Form. But I feel like the situation of being stuck with a single Dragoon and 2 dead allies feels like a rare circumstance (From my experience at least). Especially since the "Special" further enhances the main Dragoon using it and the rest of the party on their first Dragoon turn. - Inventory space does suck, made worse that Japanese players had the ability to double the size via the Pocketstation. Granted, attack items do so much damage and your basic healing item already heals Half HP and better version heals full HP. -Amount of additions varies (Kongol has 3, Rose has 4, Darts has 7 for example). You unlock Additions via reaching certain levels except for the final Additions. The final Addition requires you to do each Addition 80 times. Also surprised you didn't mention the Counters that enemies can do during the longer Additions. -I agree, Shana & Miranda not having Additions is weird (especially when Lavitz and Albert having unique animations despite using the same Additions). On the plus side, it does mean Shana & Miranda are the most efficient at gaining SP to charge up the Dragoon form. Also both having the second highest Speed stat and high Magic defense does mean they can charge Dragoon form faster, use items more frequently especially Attack items to shred bosses. Plus both have the White Silver Dragon spell that is one of if not, the best spell in the game. -I'm surprised you didn't mention the thing I don't think anyone can forgive, the Stardust hunt. Hidden collectibles (as in, they do not appear on screen AT ALL, you need to Mash X on objects) that can be missed in a playthrough. While you mostly get items as rewards for Stardust, you need all 50 if you want to fight the game's Super Boss. -Also an interesting aspect to The Legend of Dragoon is that regular encounters don't give much EXP. Bosses are the ones that give the massive amounts of EXP needed for level ups. Which is why it's truly devastation if a party member is KOed as the boss dies. It's also why Shana lags behind in Disc 1 since she's unavailable for a boss encounter.

I agree that both Miranda and Shana don't have any additions at all. Which is why I mainly use both Dart, Rose and Albert and sometimes use Kongol, Meru and Haschel. Perhaps a Legend of Dragoon PS5 or PS6 remake will fix most or some of the mistakes you've mentioned.
