Hey guys,
Happy Thursday,
Here are 5 things I will never support as a Christian.
It is important to remember that love does NOT equal support, allowing, tolerating or condoning sin is a sin in itself. Tolerating sin is NOT love!
I love everyone and will speak the truth even if some may dislike me for it.
Don't forget to follow me on social media!

When I learned what Catholics believe about marriage and sex, I was blown away by the depth and beauty of the teachings. It’s WAY better than what the culture offers. And this is coming from someone who minored in women’s and gender studies in college, identified as a feminist for years, used to support same-sex marriage, and practiced an earth-centered spirituality before Christ gave me a new heart. I am ecstatic that I will be baptized on my 29th birthday, have first communion, and be confirmed in May! Thank you for defending the teachings of the one holy catholic and apostolic Church! ❤️

I worked 15years in Law Enforcement, 6 of it in Los Angeles. The porn industry makes multi-millions on the backs of truly broken women (and men). The majority of these women were sexually abused as children or grew up in an immoral family dynamic. These women don’t see the degeneracy or dysfunction. The ones that do figure they’re too far gone a pretend to be shameless. These porn companies push these women beyond what they agree to and many are not of legal age from investigations I’ve participated in. Working for 1month with the Sex crimes unit truly opened my mind to what evils these industries perpetuate daily.

I recently divorced my wife because she was unfaithful. She cheated on me multiple times and I kept forgiving her to keep the family intact. She just kept sleeping with men behind my back so I had to end it. I wanted so badly for my daughter to grow up in a household with both parents present, something I did not have as a child. I'm pretty sure I'll never remarry but instead devote my life to God and my daughter.

I was raised by lesbian moms. It was indeed very hard on my. I longed and dreamed for a dad my whole life. They were not particularly good moms, sexually liberated in belief and wanted the same for their kids. Alot of sexual corruption came through my house and I took the blunt of it. as a child of divorced parents, i believe that there are specific circumstances where divorce is okay. for example, my mother was horrifically abusive towards me, my brother, and my father. he got a divorce to save the lives of his children, literally. if the child(ren) or other spouse are in danger, that's where i can let it slide. that's it.

I respectfully disagree. Separation is sometimes necessary as it seems it was in your parents’ case. But divorce implies that you dissolve a marriage and can marry someone else. Which by Christ’s words, can’t be done. “Whoever divorces and marries another is committing adultery and causes the other to commit adultery”. I know that separation is probably what you meant, but it’s important to differentiate between divorce and separation. Again separation may sometimes be necessary but divorce is always wrong.

@@evancawley3236 it’s a common misunderstanding, but look at what Jesus said. “Whoever divorces his wife, except for adultery, and marries another, commits adultery, and causes her to commit adultery” Only in Matthew is the phrase “except for adultery”. Why would the other’s omit the exception? Many bible scholars think that the exception refers to “causes her to commit adultery” since she is already committing adultery. If it was an exception to allow for divorce, it would have been mentioned by the other gospels and by Paul and/or Peter in their letters.

@@DRWH044 so you only believe stuff that is said in all 4, gospels ? The reason a gospel might have a different focus or added or left out a part is because ancient writer wrote only what they thought were the main bit simply because it took along time for them to write anything, no handy laptop back then or a printing press machine 😂 writing animal skin and not being able to correct errors, it's just a very tedious job, so they only wrote the main bits for them, that's why there is events or phazes in each gospel that doesn't appear in the others

I agree totally about the side effects of abortion and birth control etc. I once fell pregnant through being immature and I decided to have an abortion. It was the most painful thing, physically AND mentally that I EVER had to go through. I remember being sat on the bathroom floor not knowing whether I'd vomit or spew blood or get diarrhoea and crying because of the immense pain it left me in. I was rushed to the hospital because I had no knowledge and was told I would have 'mild menstrual-like cramps'. I was NEVER told of the awful pain and side effects. The mental pain was worse. Knowing I had started creating a life inside me and I ended it. Its the worst thing I ever did and I could never go through with it again. Whoever is reading this, please do not put yourself in a situation where you will not be able to bear a child. An abortion is not worth it. Even after confession, it still haunts you. Thank you amber for sharing your thoughts ♥️

Divorce is indeed a great evil. I had to go through the annulment process myself before I could marry in the Catholic Church. It taught me a lot. Some people think the annulment process is too long. I disagree. The time it takes to get an annulment is time well spent. The reason we have so many divorces today is because the West has rejected God’s plan for marriage by and large. Divorce is never a good thing; it is always something you will regret until the day you die. Yes, God forgives…. But the hurt and pain remains with you throughout life. As a holy reminder! 😊

She said that , I think. For such reasons you can get an annulment, which is basically divorce issued by the church. Civil Divorce is not valid under the Catholic church because civil divorce can be issued with myriad excuses , just look at how people divorce and remarry in Hollywood. But your suffering under your ex was not validated under God , unlike marraige. Thus, if you were Catholic, noone would blame you. Unless you were in a very conservative boomer neighbourhood I guess.

I really enjoy your videos. I'm probably old enough to be your grandpa but I enjoy Catholic videos Divorce is what kept me away from the Catholic Church for many years. Dad was Catholic, Mom was divorced. Dad had me baptized Catholic at 3 then he left the Church. He said it was because he was excommunicated. That caused me to reject the Catholic Church. Then I married my best friend who was divorced after being abused for years by her ex-husband Abortion is really what brought me back to the Catholic Church. I've been pro-life before Roe vs Wade was a thing. I started to speak out against abortion on social media then the movie Unplanned came out and I had to watch it. God actually spoke to me during that movie. That's the only way I can explain it. I thought he wanted me to become a pro-life advocate and I started to study scripture more to help defend against some that use the Bible to support abortion. Then discovered my church supported abortion in some cases. I left immediately. Then reading about Abby Johnson, I discovered annulments. Once I agreed to go through RCIA, my 40 year porn addiction went away. Just like that. I'm 3 years clean from the evils of porn. I've just started talking about porn on social media and what it can do to you. In about a month, we will celebrate our 1st anniversary of the convalidation of our marriage. We've been married 30 years. I truly wish I had explored Catholicism more when I was your age. Thanks for the videos. As someone who is bisexual and catholic. It's really hard to deal with prejudice on both sides. I believe being gay or bisexual isn't something to be ashamed of but LGBT and GLAAD go over board with sex. It's a hypersexuality of just an orentation. Being gay isn't a sin. The act may be but no one should be shoved into conversion camps because they are a homosexual. The catholic church must understand that Jesus loved everyone. He was friends with poor people and even an ex prostitute. He gave them love and accepted them. Being gay is harder than many things. Many people over react to it and I think that does not help the issue. Do I think gay people should adopted children? Honestly I have no idea. But making it out like we are destroying the nuclear family when homosexuals have been everywhere since before the founding of America, is misleading. You can never change being gay. The church must be more empathic or they will lose many good people. I don't agree with gay marriage and I do think children need a mom and dad. I've spent hrs and years trying to 'pray the gay away' it's not gonna happen. God made me this way. Whether it was to be more empathic like He is or what. My capability of understanding the love everyone has experienced in their life is a blessing.

So I’m genuinely curious here - what are your thoughts on birth control for non-contraceptive use? Born and raised Catholic here, but raised in a very progressive household, but that is besides the point except for the fact that I was put in BC when I was 18 for essentially a live saving medical purpose and was scared that other family members outside of my parents would essentially disown me. Are you saying that all use of BC is wrong, and that it shouldn’t exist at all in your ideal world? Very brave of you for sharing your thoughts! While I respectfully disagree with many of your thoughts, what I love about society today is that we are all entitled to and able to share our thoughts! I hope my question didn’t rub anyone the wrong way - I’m just genuinely curious!

The Catholic Church supports the use of hormonal treatment for medical reasons. For instance, many young women experience excessive bleeding or polycystic ovaries. They are free to receive medical treatment for this, including hormonal treatment (typically called birth control pills). This is in the catechism of the catholic church and you can read more about it there. This is the official position of the Catholic Church. Hope this helps you.

After considering what Scripture says in both the Old and New Testament, I've concluded that there are circumstances in which divorce is permissible. Primarily adultery, but also abuse, and even in the event of the husband withholding food, clothing, or sexual intimacy. I was surprised at the last one, apparently, if a man took a second wife, and he reduced the first wife's food, clothing, or sex, she could ask for a divorce (Exodus 21:7-11. If we think Jesus' word overrules that law, we should remember that Jesus can't contradict the Law because God gave Moses the Law to give to Israel, so that would still apply. I also think it's a bad assumption that the primary purpose of sex is creating life. I would argue its primary purpose is bonding the husband and wife through the giving of pleasure, since it is only when a husband and wife are bonded that an ideal environment even exists in which to raise a child. I don't think we can argue contraception is wrong from Scripture. God's stated purpose for marriage was providing a helper to the man for companionship, creating an environment to bear and raise children is a secondary function.

I solidly believe in a strong commitment in a traditional marriage but I believe that it is a holy partnership of souls a foundation for raising children and a opportunity for social cohesion. Sexual freedoms are misnomer as freedom can mean enslavement for the others. Marriage for financial security will degrade and is contrary to the commandments and the teachings of Christ. Sacrifice is essential for a positive union as is compassion and humility. Anything else is a debasement for both partners. Money is not a root to happiness and affirmation comes through commitment and loyalty. I choose to live alone since I cannot trust anyone and a relationship without trust will fail.

This is going on right now in Australia 🇦🇺. They've been attempting to pass Euthansia and elective suicide bills in parliament for the last 18 months. Their "reason" being that everyone has a choice whether to live and if they want to die. Obviously this is just their way of killing the vulnerable because they would rather be rid of the helpless in society than to actually offer help and council. This is especially detrimental to those that live with medical conditions and they think there is no way out and thus they choose what seems to them is the easy way out because it's framed by the government as healthcare and personal decision. I pray that people here in Australia can see sense in these bills and implore the government to reject these bills.

Have you seen or heard of the recent findings, done from a study of a large group of women. The group was mixed, some were mothers of 1 or more children. Some had suffered miscarriage or stillbirth. And some were “childless” because they had previously had abortion(s). What was found was that in each woman, regardless of the outcome of pregnancies, there was residual DNA specific to each pregnancy. This extra DNA was found in ALL who had been pregnant. And the most amazing part of it was that it was located at the sources of healing wounds or where infections had set in. God is amazing! What a beautiful thing to know or learn that even the child who was lost or destroyed continues to try to aid the mother. Consider the incredible gift of grace and love, given by our God, to those who have committed the most grievous of sins. We may all be forgiven. Deo Gratias! Alleluia! Amen!! 🤎🙏🏼✝️

What is your stance on women who take birth control for medical purposes? I have a friend who has PCOS and was once on birth control. Many women with this condition find birth control helpful. Unfortunately, it appears that women's health isn't researched well, hence why women with PCOS, endometriosis, heavy periods that cause anemia, etc.. are prescribed birth control due to the lack of other options. I also have a friend who had cancer, and was given the birth control shot as it would've been risky if she had a period while undergoing treatments. I do agree that it does prevent from a baby from being conceived, and it does go against the Bible in this sense. However, I do believe that sex should remain for marriage and that if more people waited until marriage, less children would be born out of wedlock and be born to happier and healthier families.

As a Lutheran, I agree mostly with your point on divorce except that my list of caveats would be longer than yours. Abuse does not make a marriage invalid and thus anulment is not the appropriate remedy, but I believe the church may allow divorce and remarriage for such cause. I definitely agree that no-fault divorce needs to be abolished. Similarly, I don't believe all use of non-abortifaciant birth control for married persons is inherently sinful, however the motives for doing so very often are. You cannot derail God's plan through sinful actions (Lutherans disagree with the doctrine of ensoulment), but it's still sinful to actively try. Therefore the church should at a minimum teach that it's best to err on the side of not doing it. We Lutherans disagree with the RC position that concupiscence is not sin, so I disagree on your point about same-sex attraction itself not being sinful. I find this teaching of Rome particularly problematic because their God-given conscience will still press them on it while the church tells them not to worry, and the result is that many harden their hearts and leave the faith. Overall though good video.

But above all, the great physicists, astronomers and mathematicians will question themselves and it will be discovered that all the fathers of modern science believed in God. The prayers of Kepler and Pascal will be discovered; interest in Newton's Bible; Pasteur's genuine faith. It will be learned that a monk founded hydraulics, that Nicolaus Copernicus was a Catholic religious; that the first theorist of the Big Bang and the expansion of the universe was the Belgian priest Georges Edouard Lemaetre; that the father of the air force, Francesco Lana de 'Terzi, is a Jesuit father

The Church's teaching that homosexual relationships are inherently sinful is one of the few aspects that I struggle to reconcile in my mind as a cradle Catholic. After all, they are attracted to another soul in the way that The Lord created them to do. Why would God be cruel to these folks by making them love another in a way that is automatically sinful to his Church? God designed Billy to fall in love with Johnny just like He created Joey to fall in love with Sally, but only the latter relationship is acceptable. Makes no sense to me. I have no objections to the Church's stance on divorce, but it would be helpful if the pathway to an annulment were easier to accommodate the more extreme situations like others have noted (e.g. spousal violence). I also struggle with the abortion issue. I abhor the idea but I also can come up with good reasons to terminate a pregnancy (rape, incest, mother's health risk).

Have you ever considered this as an answer to your questions. My biggest issue is the ban on any kind of contraception. This is something that affects so much more people than the gay rights or abortion issues, as most Catholics get married and need some sort of precaution. Imagine that someone gets married in their 20's and have 20 or even more potentially child bearing years in front of them and the whole time are allowed to rely only on NFP... which I'm not convinced is highly reliable because sperm can survive in the body for a few days and you cannot always be sure about ovulation time. And I think it may be even less reliable in perimenopause when the cycle is less regular, in that time pregnancy may not be healthy or desirable any more for the couples who already have kids but still possible and they may want a reliable way of protection.
