I always just used the seed maker for the frog dude’s requests, since I always keep a few of each fruit and veggie in a chest anyway, but that’s brilliant using the night market!

You can also use wild seeds. On ginger island planting wild seeds will net you melons/blueberries/wheat/garlic I think. I’m sure about those first two. Also pineapples maybe

Whenever I'm in Skull Cavern, I usually hit the iridium nodes with my weapon to make sure it's not a rock crab first.

The pickaxe tip is cool! I love learning new ways to get an early game advantage, since I always end up starting a new file to get back into things after a break from the game.

For iridium krobus you need lvl 10 fishing + the master enchant witch will make it 11 + seafood pudding witch will make it lvl 15 so you can cast far enough to get iridium krobus

Or you can just clip out of bounds by swinging your sword at the transition to town and then walk over and just get it at level one.

You can also use Qi seasoning when making seafoam pudding and it will give a 5 bonus instead of 4, so you dont have to get the enchant

Whenever I'm in the wrong season for the gourmand frog's request, I just plant mixed seeds on the island. It works every time.

Prismatic Jelly despawns after the quest is turned in. As soon as you turn in the quest, it will despawn after the day ends, regardless of how it's stored.

Thank you so much for the tips lily! I never though about using the night market to get seeds, and I never though there was such an effective way to farm coal! I really like the squirrel figurine and the ‘vista’ painting from the secret fishing presents. You create a really impressive amount of content and I really like your channel. Keep up the good work!

If people REALLY want to power play a strong start on the mines, try to catch and sell a treasure box on top of the regular fishing you do. The super early copper pickaxe is a great idea, but I normally roll with getting the first backpack upgrade. But with a early treasure box and the copper pickaxe technique you can dig down fast and for a while without sacrificing any pickups. And if you're mega lucky you'll get the Neptune's Glaive weapon from a fishing chest as well.

I just found out yesterday, you don't need to wait until entering others room. I once ran into marnies shop at 9am. But in the moment she opend the shop, she moved away from her desk into her room ans she did not close the door behind her. Still have the shorts. Haven't devided what I want to do with it.😆

I don't know if the computer version shows the concerned ape screen when opening the game but you can tap on his shades/glasses and he'll look surprised.

To complete the frogs request you can use mixed seeds bc melon, garlic, and wheat naturally grow on ginger island according to him. It won't be as neat and quick but it's super easy and cheap

You can frequently get the snowman rarecrow from the travelling cart and it's only 4000 g. Is there a way to keep the extra prismatic jelly? I've always found it despawns the next day after the quest. I wish you could make it into a shirt or something.

I think it won't despawn if you put it on a sign but I'm not sure

I believe the primatic jelly gets wiped overnight when you finish the quest or run out of time so you cannot keep it as a momento

You can keep it as a memento if you put it on a table before you sleep. I still have mine weeks after completing the quest

Snow rarecrow is often in Traveling Cart for 4000, so festival of ice isnt best option.

People who speed run usually clay farm enough day 1 to enter their pick axe for upgrade on day 2 - I wish the clay farming pattern worked on console!!

@@gsgaming6976 oh definitely I agree, I just wish that there were more loose min-max/ ‘how to make the best start’ kind of guides that didn’t depend on clay farming or using the Seed to know which geodes, dustbins to open, when bubbles/ladders/rain/trains/fairies will appear etc. It can feel kinda like flogging a dead horse in the dark on console at times when you see the starts people can make on PC.

@@gsgaming6976 yeah, I mean I’m happy and I’ve played through quite a few times; i have AuDHD and I get into hyperfocus with the grind!! I like facts and research and I like to try out the different farm layouts and approaches like what will happen if I focus on mining etc so I have built my own strategy for a new playthrough whenever I try a new one- I know there’s no pressure on me it’s my own challenge to myself to make the best farm I can for my needs/expectations not necessarily the richest/quickest farm but yeah so much focus on PC exploits can get a bit tiresome even if it’s just my own head that’s challenging me!

Great video definitely doing the fishing stuff cuz I asked about oak resin like I've planted over 100 oak trees and mahogany leaves whatever and I have never gotten one I've only ever gotten it from the skull cavern do you have a tip on that?

Craft a tapper and put it on an oak tree, you'll get oak resin every few days :)

Perfect catches are a 2.4x multiplier, which works out to 140% more, not 240% more.

Yeah I don't bother worrying about rock crabs or anything like that because 80% of my mining is done by bombs. I always have my pickaxe with me though because you can't use bombs to get through those large rocks

I really love that 'Sturdy Ring' tip... I had no idea it was ACTUALLY valuable (Considering what it's made from) As for that "SquirrelRabbitBeaverThing" IT'S A RACOON! (The animal Rarecrow) And the "Creepy Looking Thing" Is a Jack'o'lantern. I only knew about like FOUR of those secret fishing things... I gotta get that Squirrel and Krobus now :O

I always check for rock crabs with my weapon and the bomb them so they lose their shell and I can farm crab cakes from them.

3:50 catching treasure also gives a massive increase and the increases stack on top of each other. Also, I knew all these. I would add clayfarming day one to the last tip for better profit (instead of fishing.)

When you go through the north farm exit to Robin's house, you pass over a bridge with a road. I see a salmonberry bush there but cannot figure out how to get to it. Been hoping to find out how on your videos.

I've tried fishing in the fountain but it won't let me??? I'm on mobile so maybe that has something to do with it but I was also able to fish in the little pond by the bath house so idk
