I could actually use jeans that are "high-waisted" but hear me out, only a little higher than mid-rise jeans. I do a lot of bending as a retail merchandiser and the higher back could do my butt good but I don't wanna be wearing 80s mom jeans that go halfway up my torso. That said I prefer mid-rise jeans to low-rise, ultra low-rise, and definitely high-waisted 80s mom jeans

Why can't I like this 1000 times?! 😄 fr, tho, we ran out of everything all of the time when I was a kid, and I'm not using either of those words hyperbolically. I make sure we're double stacked on everything in my house, and the thanks I get is that no one can bother getting it the eff out of the cabinet? 😂😭

I’m long waisted so normal waisted jeans sit on my hips. Can you imagine what a nightmare low waisted jeans are for me?! I am happy for my low waisted sisters though. Wouldn’t it be great if the full range of heights, shapes and lengths were available all the time so everyone could buy jeans/ trousers that fitted, flattered and made them happy. Ah, what a beautiful dream.

I don't mind them bringing back low waisted jeans as long as they keep mom jeans in stock. I see they're also trying to bring back the flared leg or bell bottom jeans. That's fine as long as they keep my tapered leg jeans in stock. I'm a grandma now. It's no longer about fashion. It's strictly wash and wear from here on out.

I may be one of the few mom's who really does say I can fall asleep right away. If I'm horizontal I can fall asleep within a minute (on the floor, on the couch, in bed . . . doesn't matter). I didn't used to be that way though - I guess that's my motherhood super power. 😂

I agree! I always liked low-rise jeans and have hated every minute of the high-rise nonsense. I can deal with mid-rise but that's my limit. Luckily, I've been able to keep wearing old regular rise pants and haven't had to resort to wearing anything higher rise than I like, but if the waist band is at my belly button, it bothers me constantly and anything higher I just want to die and not even wear pants....plus they're SUPER unflattering on my body. So I'm happy as well....I just think we can all agree that the super low rise should stay in the past. My 37-year old self doesn't need my pubic bone to be making any appearances in public.

I hope they just keep offering every type of jean out there because our bodies are all different. I hated the low waisted jean because of my straight athletic body with narrow hips - believe me when I say, no bueno! When the high waisted came in, I was finally able to keep my jeans up.

As a short-waisted person, low waist pants actually are regular waisted pants on me. Mid-and high-waist pants are on my ribs or practically my boobs. It just all depends on your body.

A tip for dirty socks (good for adults, doesn’t work on kids): I was married for a while before this phenomenon manifested. I was so excited (not kidding). I put dirty socks everywhere: His laptop, in the coffee pot, his truck visor, the pocket of his coat, you get the idea. Suddenly, there were no more dirty socks. I was disappointed, as I was having great fun figuring out where to hide his socks next to surprise him. Haven’t seen them since, and we’ve been married 30 years. The seasons of life pass quickly, so it is best to enjoy while you can.

That reminds me, I need to stop by Target to get more leggings and water bottles😛 I do have to say, my son is a total morning person and he always jumps out of bed smiling and laughing while I try to pull the blanket back over my head for 5 more minutes of sleep. He has autism and can't talk, but he has his various happy noises and "sings" all the way to school. Kind of funny that he's the biggest extrovert in the family, he can't wait to go see all his friends!

Hey Robin, I used to be an autism aide. I know exactly what you're talking about. One of my students on the edge of nonverbal/verbal would carry a folded set of school clothes from her dresser to her mom every semester, starting a week or two before day one, and give her a hopeful questioning look. And she was always so happy and excited to get ready for school, and got upset if she thought she might be late. She usually didn't say much or only incomplete sentences, but one thing she would say, "I can't be late."

I've hated high waisted jeans since they made it back into fashion. I'm probably the only one my age elated about this. Never stopped wearing my pants for the most part low. It always felt more comfortable, but on my body it's also more flattering.

I can never have too many books. Regarding athlesure or loungewear, I’ll admit that I go overboard on pajamas and loungewear. My grandkids call me Pajama Grandma. I just barely ordered another set online. I have well over 100 sets that are nearly new. Kate Spade is my favorite. My favorite is a pair of pjs with books all over them. Should have seen my husband’s face when I wore them the first time. He looked flummoxed. Books and pajamas together? It was too much! And the boxes sitting in my office that I forgot to send back? We had to make a trail through it to get to the window a couple of weeks ago.

NO LOW WAISTED JEANS!! Please, people, just take it from us people that lived in the 90's. Trust me!! On another note, I just found your channel and I love it. You know you're old when you go to Walmart in the middle of the day and they're playing the best boy band ever!... that had the greatest hits,...but when you go to Walmart grocery store and they're actually playing one of your favorite songs and you could hear it from the parking lot because it's on the outside speaker!!
