(Usually quickly followed by: so you should let me go in front of you and I went have to stand so long). ▪︎ Can you do any like tricks or what? ▪︎ Here, let me sit on your lap (and it's friends: just let my kid sit on your lap, and: you can hold my kid/s so my arms can have a rest) - all of these have been said friends, family and strangers. ▪︎ Wide load coming through. ▪︎ If you don't slow that thing down, you'll get a speeding ticket. (Literally just had a shiny new rookie cop say almost exactly this to me in the last 5 minutes while I checked my mail box. Word for word: "hey speedy, if you don't slow that thing down, I'll have to write you a speeding ticket" 🙄). There's at least a few thousand more, I'm sure.

My mother used a wheelchair. One of her legs where disabled from the knee down after a surgery gone wrong and she was woobly as an older lady, hence the wheelchair, but could stand up and reach for stuff on one leg if she supported herself. A lady did "can" i pray for you when we did a grocery run. Mum hated pushy religious people. But said yes and got up 10 sec into that prayer. Doing the whole "HALLELUJA" shit. The lady who prayed for her looked so shocked and happy until Mum turned to me and said, "i can finally drive again, maybe i can do a hit and run on your no good father and finish him off this time" Lady powerwalked out of there😂😂

I love your bag! It's so practical and so perfectly sized. I've been looking for something like that for years. ETA: the steps one! (The pray for you is groaning eye roll worthy, and the others are just head-smacking material). I not long moved house and had to register for a new voting area. I called the Australian electoral office for a list of the accessible polling sites in my new area - we have an election coming up soon. Every single one marked as wheelchair accessible has steps! Many have no ramps and some even have no solid paths (only dirt, sand or gravel). These are government department run sites! Apparently, they are classed as "accessible with assistance" which is deemed as "good enough" for mobility impaired people. I registered to post my votes in future.

Not to be disrespectful to Christians and other god-beliving religions but i hate it when people wanna pray for me bcs its not gonna change anything i need a wheelchair and thats that.
