For twilights singing it could be that singing as a pony is different from than a human (but it was probably just for plot convenience considering she kinda just is able to just fine when the plot needs it)

One thing that never made sense to me in Equestria Girls was Sunset Shimmer staying in the human world to learn about friendship. The Humane 5 are literally just versions of all of Twilight Sparkle’s friends. Why couldn’t Twilight just take her back to Equestria with her? They were just a portal away.

In the first movie, principle Luna wasn't even a bit surprised that sunset pulled another sunset and tried to get twilight expelled, I think that pretty much shows Luna expected this lol.

With twilight : sci twi is a unicorn cause Twilight originally was a unicorn. Sci twi never earned the wings like twilight did in the last episode of season 3. And in the humab world sci twi is an alicorn and has wings because twilight has wings and sci twi transformed (like the rest) into her counterpart who has wings

This was a great video! A good possible reason why I'd like to think Sunsets threat to destroy the portal works, is because she is using force. The mallet would not go right through the portal but make it to the glass and shatter it. The portal in equestria is a mirror and I would imagine the glass is infused with magic which makes the portal work. Destroying it would inevitably trap Twilight and her friends. (This is just a theory ofc)

The reason eq twilight doesn't have wings in the pony realm is because she didn't earn them, The regular twilight finished a spell, and then was granted wings. 🤷🏾♀️

Everyone's skin color is slightly dulled from their pony counterparts' coat color actually. I don't know the reason but I'd assume it's to not contrast too hard with their clothing for example. I believe they went with the pastel colors since 1. competing with Monster High and 2. to avoid any drama regarding race. The human Sunset Shimmer was meant to appear, but Hasbro cancelled the series before they could do so in favor of bloody Pony Life. Tank is an actual tortoise in the human world; we see him in one of the summertime shorts involving baby sea turtles.

Without "background magic" in the human world to provide "passive autotune"; Twilight's true singing skills (none) show up. . The best contribution of the human Vinyl Scratch [DJ-Pon3] was the electronic sound system of her transformer car ("fixing" Twilight's mediocre vocal performance). -> Same things with the depowered Dazzlings (who were dependant of their magical pendants for harmonizing).

She was the mentee of Celestia, had access to her Castle & even the super-restricted section with the mirror portal (likely also holding other valuable things). -> Even if Sunset did not stole gold coins & gemstones from Celestia's treasure (note: sge likely did it); Sunset herself had already the monetary resources to do "magical quests" on Equestria [implied flasback in a Friendship Games song]. Sunset is renting a warehouse (something a minor can do with cash); that she modified as a single-room house. -> The bathroom is a new construction made "outside" of the building in an internal patio (likely with an ilegal water supply & drainage taken from neighbors). -> Sunset is an expert hacker (evidence in the first EQG movie), she likely forged false documentation for herself by copy/pasting the one of her human counterpart. She lives far away because in the human world Principal Celestia does not seek "elite scientist children" like how her alicorn princess counterpart does with the "magically talented".

She was trying to write an incantation, there wasn't any rythem to it so she was having a hard time trying to make it sound good as well as work as a spell, also they would have been practicing over the few days so that would have helped with the singing- but lets not forget the fact that this is a movie aimed at kids, and while that doesn't justify plotholes and the like, I wouldn't hold it to the same standard as films aimed at older audiences who would look into these things, instead chalking it all up to "maaaaaaagiiiiicc" yk?

I'm guessing they were really expecting you to do alot of belief suspending with this series, but more often than not, I can't get over how many plot holes EQG has left out in the open. This series really could've used more professional writers, ngl.

If you think that's strange; I was working on a cross-over/alternate universe take on the setting involving Yu-Gi-Oh where the school's a duel academy, meaning the card game was part of the curriculum complete with duel disks and holograms which later turn out to be tied to the supernatural. Difference be that Celestia and Luna actually know about the supernatural elements from their past. (I cancelled the story half-way through the Dazzlings Arc because YGO is just not fun anymore and it was hard to get inspiration for it.)

as far as sunset being the main bully with out celestia and Luna knowing - that is true in REAL LIFE - bullies are around in high school and teachers do not seem to give a crap about it IMO at least in the 1980's and yearly 90's when i was in school

It is implied that "The Human World" is aware that magic exists. | . The presence of at least two known portals (at CHS & the "quicksand portal" on the International Waters Island) relatively close together [on a planetsry scale], suggest that there are many more. -> With things like the Memory Stone, it is plausible that a selected Elite benefits from restricted access/knowledge about specifics forms of magic (either a poorly kept "secret"; of just part of the high level status quo [like nukes]). The girls having magic is like if Sci!Twi developed a portable nuclear reactor for her robots (likely "illegal"); but not something "supernatural".

The biggest one for me is the age difference. The mane six is adults right? I mean what are the chance for at teenager Living alone, having her own store, and so on. In the pony World it is shown that rarity and cheerilee goes to the same School in the same class. WHY IS SHE AN ADULT, AND RARITY IS A TEEN? Its does not make any sense. Also celestia and Luna is atleast 1000 years Old. Did they just appear someday? Are they immortal in the Human World to? Is the Human World and the pony World, not in the same timeline? I need answers!

I have many other things from EQG that I think are weird: For example if the school is called "Canterlot High" what are the human versions of the CMC even doing there? I know there is quite an age shift (for example Big mac and Cheerilee are also teenagers for some reason), but come on! They were of middle age at least. Maybe even late elementary.

C.H.S. is the only education building in "Canterlot Town". -> Originally just a Highscool, today it also provides services for the last years of Elementary Education. Other schools (including "Crystal Preparatory School [C.P.S.]), are located in the nearby "Crystal City".

Twilight (from Equestria Girls) doesn't have wings because... we know that our Twilight (from Equestria) was also just a unicorn at the beginning, but Celestia turned her into an alicorn with magic, and Twilight from (Equestria Girls) no one magicly added wings, it would be the same with the principals Luna and Celestia,they will not have wings because no one add wings to them. I also think it was to make it easier to find people from equestria girls in equestria. sorry for mistakes,I'm not good in English.

Sci twi,doesn’t have wings when she gose through the portal because,to get she didn’t earn the right to have a pair of wings. Alothough she gets wings when she ponies up because every human if they pony up they get the same features as there pony counterparts even if they have not earned the right to be an alicorn like, for example if princable Celestia ponied-up she would get wings,but if she went through the portal she would just be a normal unicorn. Also when Sunset shimmer ponies up she doesn’t get wings she olny got wings at the friendship games because she was intaking a large amount of magic.

Sci!Twi did NOT died & self-lazarus herself [reincarnation] like Princess Twilight did (FiM Season 3 finale). This is why she is still a unicorn-coded human. | . When Sci!Rwi uses her geod to "pony up", she is tapping into the dark powers of Midnight Sparkle (who was BORN as an alicorn-coded human/demon); currently trapped inside her mind. -> They can also "pony up" in Equestria (similar to the Mane Six usong the Rainbow Power), they simply never had the need/oportunity to do it in the series.
