Come with us to stay at one of the most unique hotels in Liverpool UK - The Titanic Hotel Liverpool
This time we visit Liverpool, England for what we promise will not be a magical mystery tour! Although we did not choose to visit The Beatles Experience or Cavern Club, we focused our visit around the historic Liverpool docks.
Join us instead for things to do in Liverpool city center including some retail therapy at the start of Christmas shopping season at Liverpool One. Plus, an amazing restaurant choice Mamasan Liverpool with an absolute bargain set lunch menu! Getting into the festive spirit we watched the sun set at the Christmas village at Liberte rooftop with an amazing view of the Royal Liver Building before heading off to check in at our unique hotel.
Home to the historic White Star Line, we opted for one of the best hotels in Liverpool - if not the most original! Located in Stanley Dock (next to the new Everton FC stadium), we stayed at the authentically themed Titanic Hotel - paying homage to the iconic ocean liner. The hotel is situated in original Liverpool docks and is a faithful warehouse conversion blended with the maritime history of the city. We booked a dinner and stay package and the following morning, enjoyed the unique setting and facilities of their Maya Blue Wellness Spa.
Afterwards we headed back to town to explore the sights of the Royal Albert Dock and lunch at The Smugglers Cove Liverpool - a bizarre venue that would make Jack Sparrow feel at home! We opted for a leisurely stroll back along the waterfront, however for the culture vultures amongst you there are museums galore (Tate Liverpool, Museum of Liverpool, Liverpool Maritime Museum and International Slavery Museum)
