Hi Pratik, thank you for the informative videos! I am currently using a desktop, just wondering for communication with the proctor, do I need to link my desktop with a headset to do so? and if that is the case, do I need to put on my headset the whole time? Another question is would you recommend taking the breaks? I saw online it said we cannot review prep materials during break but seems it is hard to monitor.

Hi Sue Xu, Carry out the system test. The system test will tell you if you need a headset to capture sound or your PC can manage that on itself. If the system test shows issues with audio,, try plugging in your headset and then run the system test again. If without a headset, audio cannot be captured, you may have to use the headset for the entire course of the exam. I personally took the break (i had just got one break in the initial days of GMAT online, however now there are two 8-minute long breaks). I would recommend taking a break, as it helps you relax. Yes!!! You cannot review prep material during breaks. I wouldn't even try accessing any test prep. GMAC is very particular about its rules. Hope I was able to answer all your questions. Hi Pratik, do we need to install any software or apps prior exam / to do the exam? Or we just have to take the test from a webpage?

Hey Pratik, I gave my GMAT on 30th of April, 2021 my online score were declared on 5th of May, 2021 but the original score card to download isn't available till now. Do you have any idea when will the original score be available to download.

Hi Shafaq, Hope you doing well in these times. It's great you answered your GMAT. Would love to hear more about your GMAT journey. To answer your question: For GMAT online, you will not recieve a score card. What you need to do is, take a screen shot of your mba.com account, with your GMAT score on screen. That is accepted by all institutions as a valid GMAT score report card. Hope that answers your query. Do mention below, if you have any further doubts. All the very best.

Hey Pratik, am I allowed to take the exam on my desktop pc with more than 1 monitor or it has to be on the laptop?

Hey Aditya, That's a damn good question buddy. To answer your question: First of all i hope your desktop has a webcam. If that is not present, you will need a laptop with a proper webcam. Secondly, I would recommend you to disconnect the extra monitors and keep them away from your answering area. According to my knowledge more than 1 screen is not allowed. HI Pratik! Loved your video! I wanted to offer you some advice. The main point would be to turn down the background music a tad as it is distracting from you. It often sounds as if you and the music are battling for dominance. Also a standalone mic would eliminate most of the echo in your video! Hope this helps!

Can you specify how a laptop has to be placed on the desk? My desk is rather small so I'd have to put my laptop on the left side of the desk and slightly turn it towards me (so the camera would be looking at me at a slight angle instead of central from the front) and my physical whiteboard on the right side of desk. Is this allowed or does the webcam/laptop has to be fully frontal?

@@pratikj415 Thanks for your insights! I'm still a bit confused about the whole "keeping quiet" thing. It might happen that a loud car or an ambulance drives past my house while I'm taking the exam and I'm pretty sure my microfon will pick this up. Will I get a warning for this? It is certainly something I cannot control.

Apologies for the late reply, Those sounds will be allowed I feel, coz you don't have control over them, also its environment sound. Best thing you can do is change your sport where you plan to answer the exam. Hope this helps. All the very best.

Hey Pratik, had a few urgent questions: 1. The room where I would be giving the exam has a study desk with drawers in one one corner of the room. Although I would be emptying any books or paper from the desk, I still wanted to know if a desk like that being in the room is allowed by the proctor? 2. Also I have a transparent cupboard filled with books in another corner, sort of like a bookshelf having a transparent glass door, so would that be an issue when I have to provide snaps of the room? Please reply at the earliest. Thanks.

Hey Chiranjeeb, To answer your questions: 1) If you are emptying everything from those drawers, there should not be a problem. What you can do additionally is, either lock the drawers or remove the drawers. 2) Empty the books from the transparent cupboard. There should be no problem. I hope I was able to answer your queries. @@pratikj415 Yes for the first one I'm thinking of removing the whole desk from the room itself so there's no hassle. For the second one, I'm thinking of placing a sort of curtain there to block the books entirely from the transparent cupboard

Hi pratik. I'm skeptical in deciding between online and offline exam. I don't have test centre in my city and I got to travel to a different city or state if it is in centre. Other concern is, I heard from few people that online GMAT is tough quant especially and they had bad experience interns of proctor and technical issues. Can you pls clarify about this. And as I don't have empty space in my house , is it ok if take the exam from office (empty space like conference room) ?

Hey Mirdula, I would say answering in office can have some disadvantages as you cannot guarantee a silent environment Also there may be challenges if the management finds out you answering exams using their systems. If you manage to take care of all of that, then it should not be a problem. However home is fine I feel It is ohk if the space is not empty. Let things be there but make sure nothing is there within your reach. Hope that was useful. Do let me know if you need any further assistance. Happy to help

@@pratikj415 Thank you for your valuable input pratik. Few doubts pertaining to online GMAT. 1) Can we use lan port ? If the laptop doesn't support LAN cable is it ok to use lan converter (USB Port kind) 2) can we use mouse ? 3) is it mandatory for the white board to be seen on the camera. No matter how I position my laptop I'm finding it difficult to bring everything in one frame and which inturn increases my distance from laptop. How to handle the same? and the reason why I'm opting to take from our office is that I have high speed internet there and the conference is pretty empty. As it is our personal office I have control over the surroundings. What would you recommend?

Hi Mirdula, To answer your questions: 1) Yes!!! you can definitely use a LAN connection to connect to internet. I think the LAN converter should be fine too. 2) Yes!!! you can definitely use a mouse. I used one too. 3) You only need to show the whiteboard in the camera before the test starts, before the break starts and after the break ends. It is not at all mandatory that the whiteboard needs to be seen during the test or when you are using it. However make sure you use the whiteboard in a single position that you are comfortable with. Consistently changing the whiteboard positions during the test can lead to warnings from the proctor. If the office is your personal office and the environment can be controlled, then go for it. The office would be a good examination environment in your case. All the very best. Hope I was able to answer your questions. Good luck.

Hi Pratik, thank you for sharing your experiences really helping a lot, just want to ask is it ok to keep the white board on the table as we would have to look slightly down to read/write on it. If not where and how did u keep the white board ?

@@sahibchawla5732 , That's a major issue. Currently there isn't much to cover that problem. However, they say you will get one more chance to answer your GMAT Online incase of a power outage. I would recommend you take certain measures to avoid power outages. Why simply take the risk. Hope that answers your query.

Hi Sarthak, You are absolutely right. When you register for the GMAT exam, you get 90 real GMAT questions and 2 free full length mock tests.

Hello sir, my query is regarding the system check before online gmat exam. When i do the system check the word ready comes under all the icons(like camera, mic, internet speed, etc) but under secure browser icon a link was given to download the windows browser and instruction. I downloaded and installed it but still when did the system check again then also the same link came under secure browser icon. Why the word ready is not coming under secure browser icon like it is written under all the other options? Does this means i can't give the exam under such situation? Hope you could understand my query and please do give a solution as i have my exam this coming sunday. Help please

Hey, I feel the Ready part will not come under the secure browser. Everytime it will advise to download the required software. If you have downloaded it once and installed it. That is enough. Directly on exam day, log in 30 min before the test, and start check-in process. There if any additional things are needed, you will be given proper instructions. Don't worry. I know for test-centre exam we fill 5 school names before the test starts but on mba.com site for GMAT Online - it seems that we select the school and their programs later? Hi pratik, can you please explain the process of sending scores to schools? If i haven't filled up the application forms of the schools that i choose during the exam yet or if the applications for that year are not open as of now, then what is the point of sending scores then and there? I just had this confusion so it would be really great if you could answer that. 😊

Hi Nayanita, Good question!! So the thing is, For test center based GMAT: You should know which B-Schools you are targeting. The mock exams will give you a rough idea of your scores. So based on that and your application aspects, select 5 schools. Since in test center-based GMAT you need to send your score to B-Schools from the test center itself, I would say do your research properly. For GMAT Online: The same thing goes, but the only thing is you get to send 5 free score reports to B-school programs within 48 hours of receiving your official scores. any additional score reports will cost you an extra $. It doesn't matter if applications are open or not, the score will reach the university and be there with them for 5 years. So you can send your applications within 5 years. That's what I feel. Hey Pratik, I'm giving my GMAT online tomorrow. I just have a couple of doubts about the desk setting which I want you to clarify: 1. My desk has a couple of attached shelves, and I'll be removing everything from those. That's gonna be okay right? 2. My desk is attached to a window (facing it actually) and I will be completely closing the curtains to that window. This won't be a problem with the proctor right?

Hey Rohan, To answer your questions: 1. Yes! It's completely ok, if you have removed all the shelves. There won't be any problems. 2. There won't be any issues with the proctor too i suppose. Hey Prateek, I have my online Gmat this Sunday, and I wanted to check regarding certain items in my room. Firstly, there is a bed and a couch in my room, since I did not read anything on the website that mentioned about this I am not sure if that's fine or not. And if any heavy lifting is required I would do it beforehand. Secondly, there is a cupboard which is just closed and have nothing on display. I guess this should be fine. Lastly, I am going to be using my office laptop that has a screen timeout setting (which can be changed by admin only) so I am wondering if my laptop screen goes off during optional breaks, would this be an issue? I wanted to be doubly sure if anything could be a problem, so could you pl share your suggestion.

Hi, To answer your questions: 1) Not a problem at all. Just make sure nothing is within a close distance from your hands. Make sure the cupboard is closed and away from where you are sitting, or at least away from your reach while you sit for the exam. 2) I am not sure if answering GMAT online on your company laptop is a good idea coz during the system test, your firewall, antivirus needs to be disabled. Please confirm if that is possible on the laptop. Screen timeout should not be an issue, as a continuous application does not let the laptop go to sleep. Unless your laptop has a setting where it is not operational post your work hours. If you have any issues, feel free to comment on any of my videos. will definitely reply back with proper solutions. Hi, can we use a whiteboard in which we can write both sides? Also, can we leave our room during the breaks? Also, we get 2 breaks right? At what time, do we get those breaks ?

Hi Nayanita, 1) No!! You cannot use a whiteboard where you can write on both sides. Even if you have a double sided whiteboard, you need to use ONLY one side. 2) Yes!! I think so, it says you can leave your exam spot to use the washroom. 3) Yes!!! you get two 8-minute long breaks. The choice of breaks i am not that sure when do you get it. I feel it mostly depends on your choice of section order. Hi Ashish, Yes!!! Any headphones with a microphone is preferred coz many times the proctor will ask you a question here and there so that time you have to reply. Hi Pratik. I wanted to know whether it is okay to speak out and answer the questions or not. Because in Verbal (specifically SC and CR), I usually speak out the questions loudly than in my mind to better focus on the question. Is this allowed? Thanks in advance.

To answer your question: preferably you doing the rough work on the white board in front of the camera is better. There shouldn't be a problem if you hold it at the side as well. Hi, I have no clue why it may be flagged. however in case: -if there was audio involved or any malpractice performed during the exam, that could lead to an administrative review. Hey Aditi, To answer your question: Keeping the whiteboard on the table is fine. It would be better is covered in the camera range, but i guess its ohk if it isn't too. My whiteboard was just below the camera range but the proctor could clearly see me working on it. Hope that answers your query. All the very best.

Can we write anything on whiteboard during instruction, school and section order selection pages before the first section?

Hi, As mentioned in the link: www.mba.com/exams/gmat-online/prepare-for-your-exam/prepare-your-environment It does not matter what you write on the physical whiteboard, provided it is clean, 1) Before the exam begins 2) Before the optional break begins (if you choose to take the break) 3) Before the exam ends So even if you write stuff on the whiteboard, the proctor will check if the whiteboard is clean before the exam starts, which is essentially before the section. Hi Pratik, Thank you for the very enlightening video. I have a very important question for me, I am applying late to schools. I am just starting to study for the GMAT. I am going to submit my applications to the last round of schools.I am trying to get into Bocconi University or London Business School. The question is: I don't have much time to study and especially to submit my GMAT score to the schools, how can I do that? On the GMAT website its says that it take 7 to 20 days to get the results, which is too long regarding my application deadline. On the Boccoin website, they say that: "If you have only the unofficial score by the deadline of the session you are applying for, you can participate to the selection BUT, in case of admission, you will be asked to upload the Official Score on MyApplication by the enrollment deadline. " What is "the unofficial score"? Is it the score you get right after the online GMAT? How to submit it? take a screenshot? I only have 1 month to submit my applications, I don't have time for an in-person exam if the results come in 20 days later. Do I have a chance with the online GMAT and my "unofficial score"? What do you think? Thanks a lot...

Hi, First of all, thank you so much for your compliments on the video. Answering all your queries one by one. 1) It does take around 7 working days to receive your GMAT Online score. Sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances, it gets delayed and it reaches you within 20 working days (Similar for Test-centre based exam). So once you receive your score, you just have to send it to the B-school within 48 hours of receiving your score. Some schools(like Bocconi said) are fine with an unofficial GMAT score report initially to accept your application, however, if you get admission or are shortlisted for interviews, they will insist on your GMAT score. Hope that is clear. 2) Unofficial score report is basically a screenshot of your mba.com profile with the GMAT online score in it. I AM NOT SURE if you can click a screenshot of the score which appears on the screen after your GMAT Online exam (not sure if universities accept that or not). My advice for you: If you just have 1 month to study and then apply for admissions, I feel it's a bit of a rush. I would persuade you to look for admission in the coming August-September Admission round for 2023 admissions. The last round for admissions is like going for a movie, minutes before it starts, only a handful of seats are available, so the schools look to fill them with exceptional candidates (People who have done remarkable stuff n their field, for example, a popular KZfaqr, a successful fashion designer, a CEO, etc.) The schools are not really motivated to fill the seats with normal students since THEY ALREADY HAVE THEM IN MAJORITY due to rounds 1, 2, and 3. Hope that is clear. Admission means a good investment of approximately 1 lakh Indian rupees (This includes Study material, mock tests, exam fee, application fee, etc.). Ask yourself if you are really ready to spend it on a hit-and-miss case. If you plan to take admissions in the year 2023. That means you can target the 1st round of admissions which will happen in August-September 2022. That gives you 4 months for proper practice and getting a good shot at your desired B-School, if you start your prep in April 2022. Think about it. Hi, First of all, Most of the Indian Business Schools accept CAT entrance tests for their admissions. However, some colleges accept GMAT for their admissions. You will have to check those institutions web pages and confirm whether they take GMAT Online or Offline scores. Many have started accepting the Online GMAT score. Thanks for your kind words Alessandro. To answer your question: The use of paper is against the policies of GMAC. So I urge you to either, find a way to get hold of a physical whiteboard or practice well to answer your test using the Online Whiteboard only. One of the few ways how you can find a whiteboard is, by contacting people who have answered the GMAT Online exam recently. You will find these people on gmatclub.com. Just wanted to know about your online experience. One thing that worries me is that when solving for SC questions, I usually use splits to solve them. However how can I use this strategy on the screen. I will have to mentally identify splits. So is there an easier way around this?

The rough work you do on the physical whiteboard is irrelevant to them i guess. Ans: -Passport/Aadhar card (Official Id you used to register) -Physical Whiteboard (If you using it) -Whiteboard markers & Eraser (If you using physical whiteboard) 2)Is there any process of admit card ? Ans: For Offline exam, the confirmation mail that you get with your test centre details and exam slot details is considered as your admit card, however check your mba.com account and your mail incase GMAC send you any documents related to to admit card. For Online exam, Once you login into your mba.com account, you can directly start the exam at the click of a button, I do not see a need for admit card. 3) And do we need any webcame other than the laptop webcam that is attached with it ? Hi Sarthak, The GMAT exam is owned by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). They administer the exam with the help of Pearson VUE, a global network of testing centers. But to answer GMAT, you need to have an account on mba.com. mba.com is a common ecosystem where applicants can go study, revise, meet GMAT experts and get to know more about GMAC. Hi Luca, The camera/webcam is used by the proctor to keep a check on you. Idk how the proctor will be able to do that if its on your keyboard. However you can do one thing: -Ask around in your friends and family if anyone has a webcam. -Check if the webcam is working and carry out a system test just to check if the webcam is acceptable. Keep the webcam on standby -On Test day when you meet the proctor, tell them first about the keyboard camera, if he/she doesn't have a problem with that, then you are sorted. If not then tell them you have an external webcam and connect to see if they happy with it. That should be sufficient i feel. Hope this helps you out. All the very best for your exams.

For more info, check this video out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ra-IiaVn17jPY4k.html 3) You will be asked to load a web page on your mobile, there you will have the option to click pictures using your mobile camera and once clicked these pics directly are sent to the proctor. Don't worry, the instructions on the check-in page are very clear and easy to follow. 4) The Proctor is there to help you with your exam. So he/she is someone, who will guide you. So he/she will explain everything before the exam starts. What i have mentioned in this video are parts which the proctor will tell you before the start of exam and you will have to follow them before and during your exam. Hi Richa, If your exam starts at 10.30, try to log in by 9.45. 45min is sufficient to do the check-in formalities. Once you start the Check-in procedure, you will be asked to visit a website, where you will have instructions on how to click pictures and where to upload them. Which country do you want to study in. 2) Select which particular college offers the course that you are interested in. 3) Make a list of all the colleges you are inclined towards and which offer the course you interested for. 4) Speak with a Counselling agency regarding your profile and which college would be the best fit for you. The counselling agencies have the exact idea of which colleges are suitable to a particular candidate, due to their previous experience in admissions. 5) Once decided on the institution and course, do your research about the admission criteria and it's intake. Since you can choose the section you want to answer first, these two breaks are strategically placed for the Quant and Verbal section. Hey Smita, For MBA in India, the CAT exam offers admissions to much more colleges in India. Admissions will start somewhere in feb or so after clearing GD and interview rounds. Hey , Pratik Joshi, amazing video.Found it really helpful. I have my exam on monday. I am in this process of making sure everything is at the right place. I have couple of doubts i would be really greatful if u can please clear my doubts. 1. I remember that i have uploaded my passport photo during the slot selection process on both Gmat and examity portal. But right now I am in this zone where i dont really recollect what exacty happened that day. So i just want to cross verify my ID photo. Any idea where i can go and check this? Hey Krithika, On exam day, during the check-in process you will be asked to upload pics of your passport. That should be it. Proctor will check your environment, your background and your physical whiteboard ( if you using one). That's all. All the very best.

Hi Rushi, Check this link out: www.mba.com/exams/gmat-online/prepare-for-your-exam/system-requirements in step 1, choose on what system you have Windows or Mac, based on that the required software will be downloaded. in step 2, click on system check. Follow the setup instructions provided during setup and the system check. You should be fine. Good luck.

Hi Cesare, To answer your questions: 1) I am a bit confused by the question. Can you give me a specific question? I am not sure what do you mean by 'that'. 2) To click pics of your surrounding, you have to use your phone. What will happen is, once you check in on your exam day, you will be asked to visit a webpage on your phone. Once you reach the webpage, it will require you to upload pics of your surrounding (Here you cannot use existing pics that you may have clicked before). The webpage will itself allow you to open your camera at that time and click pics. I know this all seems a bit confusing now, but trust me the process is very explained and is super easy to carry out on exam day. You will be fine. 3) This operation is during your check-in process. You will be guided to a webpage, so there you have to upload the photos. Query about Glasses: Don't worry buddy, Even I use glasses on day to day basis, and even on my id I don't have glasses. The glasses will not affect anything. You will be allowed to use them in the exam. Hope I was able to answer everything. All the very best.

Hey pratik here are some of my doubts- 1. If you keep your white board on the side and the looking towards it again and again won't the proctor or AI give warning or for that matter even keeping the white board in front of you and if you are looking downwards for each question won't the proctor say something? 2.How many times can we give GMAT online in a year and in total as well?

Hi Jayant, Hope you doing well buddy. To answer your question: 1) The AI software recognises your eye pattern, so looking up and down, your head wont move much but when suddenly you do a different eye/head movement the AI software will detect it and the proctor will issue you a warning. 2) GMAT online you can give 2 times. Now this 2 chances you can cash in any time. Within a single year or for lifetime. However once you are done with these 2 chances. To answer GMAT in the test centre format, you will have a total of 5 chances in 1 year and 8 chances throughout life. There must be a gap of 16 days before you apply for a retest. Currently telecom services are down in my area due to heavy rainfall and after effects of a cyclone. Hence, i am not able to open mba.com website. Kindly read up there as well before your final decision. Hope I was able to answer your query. Happy Studying.

Hi Akansha, I am not really sure about this. To be on the Safer side, avoid using it. If you don't have an option, make sure you tell the proctor that it is a touch screen enabled Laptop, but due to GMAC policies, you have turned the touch screen off and are using it as a general Laptop. If you put off the touch screen feature and use it like a General laptop, it should not be an issue. Hope I was able to answer your question. All the very best

Hey! So here is the doubt regarding proctoring that I had. 1) Can you see him/her or only hear? 2) So in my set up I will be using a monitor its only one device but the cpu is in a compact shelf beneath the table. So, in my scan will I also have to show him the cpu because with the plugs and everything I can’t take it out, from above and out I can show. Will that be fine? 2) I heard from my friend that they control your screen so how does that work and what do they do?

Hey Khushi, To answer your questions: 1) Only Hear, as far as i know. If you can see him/her, it will aid in your assistance. 2) Honestly, the proctor will ask you to show the surroundings. I am not really sure about your CPU and desktop setup as i am bit confused with your query. However if the proctor asks you to show the bottom or top part, you could just remove the webcam, show it around and then keep it back in place. (Not really sure about this though, but the proctor is your friend in the exam not an enemy so don't worry, he/she will help you out) 3)I am not really sure if they control your screen or not, but they can definitely observe everything going on the screen. They basically act as the door-keeper. Once they are satisfied that you have taken all the precautions, they will give you access to the exam. They do not interfere with your exam while you are answering it. That's for sure. Hope I was able to answer your queries.

Hey Atharva, Thanks for your comment. To answer it: If your internet connectivity is lost, you will get 5 min to reconnect or else you will be asked ro reschedule your exam. This is as per the rules. Hi Kanak, 770 is a Brilliant score buddy. Well done indeed. If you don't have finance issues, try aiming for the Ivy league colleges. Obviously coz they are THE BEST. But before you apply, find out what course/subject you would like to master in. Since 770 is an above par score, colleges will compete for you. In that case, study the course and its subjects that truly excite you. Based on that take your decision of which college you would like to go to. Hope this helps. All the very best

Hi, Yes! you can definitely answer the GMAT online 2 times. B-Schools will only accept the higher score, so dont worry about the lower score. Not sure about that as even I can't find that info online. But as per GMAC, your mba.com account will list all your GMAT Scores. So the screenshot you take(basically the GMAT Score Card for GMAT Online) will have both your exam scores I feel. While admission the B-School will consider your highest marks that is for sure, but they will ask questions in the interview such as, "Why did you answer the GMAT Twice?", "Why wasn't the first score not good enough according to you". Hope that clarified your doubts to some extent. For more clarity, you can ask the same question on GMAT CLUB. Someone will definitely reply. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Hi, Check the document you used to register for the GMAT exam. Fill in the details as per that document. Passport would be the best document in this case but also the Aadhar Card works for the GMAT Online Exam. Hope this helps you out. All the very best.

Hey, Thanks for your comment, To answer your question: There are no specific dates as such. You need to register for the GMAT Online Exam and then when you schedule your exam, you get available slots for the present month and upcoming 1-2 months. Hi Saurabh, I would advise you not to cheat in this exam, coz unlike the usual exam, if you are caught in any malpractice, your exam will be terminated and you will be banned from answering the GMAT exam ever again. The organisation can go as far as declaring it to even B-Schools. So avoid cheating and work hard to score well in the GMAT exam. All the very best.

Hi Shriya, The exam difficulty level remains the same whether you take it online or offline. However Online you can answer in the comfort of your own room, while offline you have to be at a testing center. Also the universities that you can apply to are infinite interms of online while you can only choose 5 in the offline mode and any additional universities will cost you a certain fee. Hi Shriya, GMAT is One out of Many exams that you can answer for your Masters. GMAT has global recognition and even quite a few Indian colleges accept it. For Masters in the management sector in India, you have: CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP, etc. For Masters in Research/Management abroad, you have GRE. Hope this helps. All the very best.

HI Shriya, Some info on GMAT Online has come to light, Score reporting in GMAT Online has been reduced to 5 B-Schools after reeving your scores, post 5 schools you will have to pay an additional fee. This is a major change which has come into effect recently. So please be informed. Hope this helps.

First of all, I hope you are doing well in these tough times. To answer your question: It depends on which educational background you are from? If you have a strong mathematics background, self-study will be enough to ace the Quant section. 1) Similarly, if you are a good reader, you will do well in the Verbal section. If you aren't a good reader, start reading today. Start reading newspapers such as The Hindu and The New York Times. Go through magazines such as Forbes, Fortune, and Bloomberg. Read storybooks, self-enhancing books, etc. While reading, keep a dictionary handy to find the meaning of the words you don't know. (Everything I suggest has been tried and tested by me. It works. So don't get demotivated in the early days. Keep working hard on your English.) Also, try to speak and write as much English as possible. Tell your friends to help you out there. Download a few apps which I have mentioned in the video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eNRlp8-nvtnbgYE.html. This will help you with sentence correction. Especially the Ready4GMAT app. 2) I referred to the Manhattan prep Sentence correction book. It is like a bible to all newcomers. It works miracles. Also, refer to the videos from Wizako for sentence correction. There are 28 videos in the sentence correction playlist. Spend around a month or so studying on your own and if you feel you need help, only then go for classes. If you ask me, I have done my self-study so I am not really sure which classes are the best. However, I have read in different forums that Magoosh, Veritas Prep, Manhattan Prep, and Wizako are very good. Wizako is the cheapest in the lot. So make an informed decision.
