Did you know!!!! South Africa and Zimbabwe’s legal systems are not the same. Each country has their own different laws and run by different constitutions. Some things which are legal in South Africa can be regarded as illegal in Zimbabwe, therefore I’m here to share those things in this video. For example homosexuals are not allowed in Zimbabwe yet in South Africa it’s allowed.

I stand to be corrected. Postitution is not legalised in SA. The government is in the process of decriminalising sex work, but the draft bill is not yet finalized. That's why there are no regulations on sex work.

I compared based on the fact that in Zim they don’t allow people on the streets like those sex workers who actually stand on the road 😂😂😂 sometimes the police actually patrols at night to make sure no one is on the streets

Prostitution in South Africa is currently illegal. Both the selling and buying of sexual services are criminalized under the Sexual Offences Act. Lol, once they legalize it i'm opening a brothel...😅😅😅

You're right on the rest but on the issue of prostitution and mercy killing I think they're both still illegal in SA. Prostitution is in the process of being legalized but as for euthanasia no, it's illegal.

Last time I checked, euthanasia was illegal in South Africa. I still stand to be corrected though. We had a debate about it while in varsity check the following case law Stransham-Ford v Minister of Justice and Correctional Services and Others it's a 2015 case.

Yes they are protected but it's not legal. So far am only aware of one case of mercy killing and the matter was at court am not sure if the bill passed. True being gay is allowed, that explains why Somizi was turned away to come to Zim Yeah freedom of expression is a big thing in SA but JJ Tabane got in hot water so many times for criticising some people so that right goes with responsibility Abortion for 12 year olds really makes me sick. Weed only got legalised recently and it opened up some opportunities for new products. Is it true that it's illegal to barter in trade markets at Zim? I wish you could have dived into more details but great job you did there. Oh by the way cannabis has alot of names in South Africa, 11 languages then slangs so you can imagen but the common name is zol

1. Prostitution (sex work) is unlawful and a prosecutable offence. Are law enforcement is just tolerant. 2. Mercy killing (Euthanasia) is unlawful and never was lawful in South Africa. Prominent law professor, Dr. Steve Cornelius at UP, has for years fighting for its legalisation. 3. Yes homosexuality is lawful in South Africa. Everyone can choose to identify with whatever 'gender' they so wish and can date anyone. 4. Our media laws are somewhat complex. TV, Radio and content creators can on paper say whatever they want but realistically the narrative is controlled. But yes compared to Zim we are more liberal. 5. Yes abortion is legal but still frown upon by more or less half the country because we are an 80% Christian country. There are, however, laws that strict regulations. 6. Weed is lawful and can be planted for personal use. However, the amount that be planted and carried is restricted. 7. Yes online gambling is lawful.

Zimbabwean laws are totally different from SAcn laws because SA is a democratic country and Zim is a military stae that is dominated by one tribe [Shona people]. Our democracy in SA is a process and Zim democracy its an event.
