There some days when I dream in english 😂, really, i'm not cheating, sometimes it happens, AND I really know what those words mena by asosiating it to images or sounds. I'm student and I ever read think bout psicology, AND THE explanstion I got for this and the "Think in english" method in this video is simple to explain. Imagine if you were a baby, who doesn't know a hell about nothing. If you grow up in a english familly you'll here, see, feel, smell and call think by their name in english, But when you say for example "Head" you really imagine the part of a body, the Head, no imagine the word as we do when we translate the words. So imagining, repitting In your mind sounds, images, feeling and imiting moovements is how we learn a NEW concept. Another way to see it is accept that there are no similarities in the lenguajes, this would create a "wall" between both languages and you'll stop to translate.

When you were kid you didn't know a word of your native language too. To learn another language you gotta do it the same way how you were doing it when you were kid. Translating is an useless deal. No self respecting person would be caught dead translating in their head.
