Absolutely... I loved his '90s work. His albums are always good to great... but I love where he's been artistically, and sonically, lately. Some of his best work. The new singles from the follow-up, _Beautiful Revolution Part II,_ sound amazing.

What I love about Common's music is that embodies the full spectrum of the African Diasporaic Experience. It's all about oppression, police brutality, economic injustice, poverty, struggle, strained relationships, and having to FIGHT THE POWERS THAT BE 24/7. His music also embodies sex, love, fun, liquor, weed, partying, family, community, success, and so much more. Every element is reflected in COMMON'S MUSIC. He's one of my favorite HIP HOP ARTISTS. COMMON, RICK ROSS, KENDRICK LAMAR, & ICE CUBE are my favorite. COMM & CUBE are legends in this game.

First listened and watched Common on the track Testify. From that point knew there was something about him, although he was physically appealing it was more than that that attracted me. As time has gone on and I'm now the very ripe age of 44 I still feel the same because his flow and presence still remains. He is a lyrical mind that speaks a truth that I agree with, especially the lines "That's why your vaccine I gotta second guess it. We don't know what your shootin' in our black kings and black queens" Hope the Most High blesses me at a chance of meeting him one day just to listen to him speak.

This better be amazing. This is only the second time I have ever put a reminder for anyone’s music video. Update 1: That poem alone gave me chills and I had to share it immediately. Wow! Haven’t even heard common himself yet, but the beat is insane. This the type of joint you want to hear in a dark lounge. Update 2: This is OG Common. The beat is sick, but the lyrics...FIRE!!!! His last few albums have been great, but _A Beautiful Revolution_ is his best work in a _long_ time. And to think that.....in my adolescent years I wasn't even trying to hear Common's music because I heavily wrapped up in childs play, practically, and was used to hearing what was on radio play "commonly" 😊 however, as I mature and face the complexities of manhood, especially being black....I've grown to love this brother and really admire his talent and work ethics
