You’d be surprised how horrificly awful people can be. I’ve heard of the pet stores telling their employees to simply drown baby bearded dragons that got too old or were sickly to be taken, and people just leaving pets behind in their apartments for others to deal with 😞. We even had a malnourished white husky show up at our doorstep and when we found the owner we got a lame story about him getting away, then paid $50 to the guy so we could find him a good home. People take on more than they can handle I guess.

@@christinaadams4187 I've definitely learned a lot more about people since the time I wrote this. I work in EMS, I've seen people do some seriously screwed up things. I went on a call in October where a man murdered another guy and then shot his dog. Some people are screwed up

Hey Bobby absolutely love the channel, I'm am herpetologist (I work with reptiles and amphibians for a living 🐸🐍) from South Africa, I keep a bunch of snakes as well all of them are rescues just like your doggos 😁, thought I could give you some helpful tips to keep your little beauties happy as can be, so all of your ball pythons are adults (as far as I can tell from the video) so you might want to reduce the frequency of feeding from 1 every week to 1 every two weeks so they don't become overweight (which isn't healthy for them) especially if you keep them in their tanks all the time, and if you put a dowel rod in front of your sneks faces or in the first coil of their body to keep them from striking when you open their tank (they will eventually learn that this means no food) because when the bite you and you have to take them off it can increase stress levels, you could also reduce the frequency of your feeds for Dragon so he ca loose some of that weight😉 , for you tarantula try feeding her adult superworms so that they walk into her legs. if you want Joanna to stop being so grumpy try handling and taking her for walks more often ( try to handle her at least once every three days doesn't have to be you specifically but anyone in your family), shes grumpy because she doesn't trust you yet. But all of your pets are stunning really happy to see an owner that's as passionate about them as you are 😁 I can send you some pictures of me and my babies if you'd like to see them

Tito reminds me of my dearly departed Charlie Bucket...a Chihuahua I found roaming the streets in my small town. He was super starved, dirty, flea-ridden and stinky. I had no intention of keeping him, just get him healthier and find him a home....but he talked me into keeping him. For three years I gave him the best life I could give him....all the food, water and love he could ever want. In June, Charlie slipped a disc in his spine and about a month later a second incident worsened the condition to the point that Charlie lost most of the use of his hind legs, was in great pain, not eating and losing weight very quickly. Surgery is way beyond my financial ability to pay for....so I had to make the difficult decision to have him put to sleep. Not the way I wanted things to go....but life doesn't always the way we want. I miss him dearly, but know that I will see him again when my time on this earth is over......Charlie and a huge pack of dogs I have had in this life.....on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge waiting for me.

I've been rescuing roosters for a little over a decade, and currently have two service roosters. One of my first rescues when I really dedicated myself to roosters was a Silver Spangled Hamburg, and he was one of the worst affected abuse cases I took in. When naming him, I went Hamburg > Hamburger > McDonalds > Donald > Donnie > Donnie Darko- and that's what went into his name tag! Glad to see I'm not the only one naming their pets after Darko!
