In this Video, ThinkPad E570, E560, E550, E540, T440S, T450, T460, all others Models: Serial Number, Type, UUID Error | Non System Disk Error | Press Any Key Error |
We have solved S/N, Type and UUID Error. System disk error, Press any key Error.
If you still found error about non system disk error, Press any key, then Checkout Secure Boot, UEFI, Legacy boot options, change it one by one and use USB 2.0.

Lisää julkinen kommentti… Jaakko Nenänpää For anyone else watching and having problems: I switched motherboard for Lenovo W540 Thinkpad. I got these two error messages (and real time clock which was an easy fix). I could not make any program version linked and used in this video work. I also tried older versions like 1.83. Eventually I found another video by this channel "How to Change Serial Number, Type, Model, Lenovo Thinkpad || T480 || T490". Program version used and linked in the description (vr. 1.89) worked, it was a little different than the one used here though. I found it better. First I used option 1 to add serial number like it was done here and then I used the same program for option 4 (or something) to add UUID, which the computer detected automatically and it basically was just a matter of hitting enter after that. I used 4 gigabyte USB 2.0 USB drive. Thanks Moeez Rehman!

Thank you. Works perfect on E540 after swapping dead motherboard without nVidia GPU to a "new" one WITH extra nVidia GPU. You saved me so much trouble. No helpfull info on Lenovo forums. THANK YOU!

Thank you so much bro Finally I fixed I looking for 16 digit serial number on my mainboard but I realized that number I have to make it by myself ( mixed alphabets and numbers ) UUID number automatically set up after that. anyway you are the best !!!!!!! thanks again

Hi Moeez, thanks for the video. I need little help here, can you help me with the issue? I had tried to upgrade through Lenovo vantage and during bios upgrade it turned off and never turn it back on. I took it to local repair shop and he asked to replace the motherboard or another option is to “get a binary file to flash the bios” ..we reached out to Lenovo and they declined to share the binary file..my repair shop guy told me that anyone had this laptop can share the binary file and that could be used to revive my laptop. Can you please please help with binary file?

Hi Simplybond, Thanks for watching, I read your message and repair shop guy is right. your laptop need Bios file, basically its a bios program file and only option is we need same laptop. Bios program is not available in lenovo service center or internet. So search same laptop.

Its a 2 different way to update Serail Number.one is 20 and 2nd is C0, If you have total 16 digit included 1S then use 20 or if you have total 20 digit then used C0 Option. C0 option is better then 20. 😀 Thanks for watching and Please subscribe my for more updates.
