I only discovered your channel last week, but I'm devouring it! What is as much amazing to me as anything else right now is your proficiency with your DAW. You can work as fast as your ideas come and this is a huge advantage. Okay, you're a very experienced professional, and I'm sure your speed was hewn out of necessity, but nonetheless! So, apart from anything else, it's inspiring me to really get into my keyboard shortcuts and broaden my knowledge of all the stuff I've access to in my DAW. Such a great channel.

I build exactly the same way. I usually will have an even repetition ostinato and build each instrument in sections of 8 measures. It is a cookie cutter method but when a piece needs to be complete in a few hours it is quick and effective. Thanks for sharing

I love that you show your failures and experimentation. So many use the camera dishonestly and only show a great end result looking for accolades. The mark of a true educator in my opinion. Thanks for showing your human side and that no matter previous success, you still struggle with creative decisions like everyone here. This is truly helpful in maintaining a positive attitude for so many. If I'm feeling stuck with writer's block, I'll watch one of your videos and realize once again it's all part of the process. Most of us know it's not a failure on our part, but it's still a nagging sensation you aren't good enough. Self doubt can be crippling at times. I appreciate your time on these and honest delivery of the information. Cheers.

Guy, you are so inspiring and interesting, you make me laugh out loud quite often...in a good way. My wife thinks I am a little bit crazy though. Your energy and stream of consciousness as you write has renewed my enthusiasm to begin writing music like this again; even for my own enjoyment. I am so glad I found your channel. Your use of classical music vocabulary is getting me to dust off all of those years of music theory chops too!!! Thanks for the Spitfire "free" library that you also tested. You are really amazing that you share so much knowledge, you are a treasure. I never finish one of your shows without a smile on my face.
