What kind of SDS + hammer do you have? Don't push down on the hammer try a steep angle and go in the direction of the trowel lines

SDS Max will have wider scrapers available but also quite a bit more expensive...usually $400+ for a decent SDS Max rotary/demo hammer. While you can get an SDS Plus rotary hammer for around $100. SDS max hammer also will be quite a bit heavier.. So comes down to personal choice and budget

Price and weight doesn't really matter what matters is getting your job done the fastest

Personally I prefer the solid piece chisel. Downside is it is shorter so if you have back problems the scraper is longer and allows you to be more upright. But the scraper assembly has more parts and is less reliable than the solid bit. However we warranty everything so you're covered either way
