Thirteen-year-old boy dies following a sword attack in Hainault

22 күн бұрынA teenage boy has died after a man wielding a sword attacked members of the public and police officers in East London.
Five people were taken to hospital following the incident which happened in Hainault at around 7am on Tuesday. However, police have now confirmed a boy was also killed in the attack.
Two Metropolitan Police officers suffered wounds that both require surgery, with the force describing their injuries as “significant” but not life-threatening, and injuries sustained by two members of the public are also not deemed to be life-threatening.

Which psychiatrist said “no, you’re fine to be amongst the general public now”. It was like some years ago, a guy got killed in a police pursuit on the A316. This guy turned out to have been only just released from a mental health facility, stole his mum’s car, and ended up fleeing police, crashed into a lorry due to dangerous driving. More needs to be done in mental health to keep dangerous people away from the general public - for our safety and theirs.

@CaptainSkyMT I just seen a video on youtube, telegraph. It was I think a business premises cctv, time stamp on the video shows armed police arrivinf at fourteen and a half mins after the first call at 0700hrs. Iur government think 15 mins is acceptable. I don't. Why not make firearms of a smaller calibre available to response officers. .22 pistools and rifles for times such as these. The taser puts the officers in danger wheras, rifle shot 50 - 100yds. And pistol 25 - 50 yds.
