1 ½ cups (240 g) whole golden flaxseeds
4 Tbsp (40 g) psyllium husk powder
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

I baked this bread today and my goodness, it is IMPOSSIBLY good! I've tried multiple bread recipes (with no yeast or sourdough starter) and this one is the best by a LOT! Почитала комментарии и нашла где вы даёте ссылочку и описание.Духовку нагреть на 180 градусов и печь 45-50 минут. Проще было-бы написать вместе с рецептом как выпекать,люди не задавали бы этот вопрос.В комментариях многие это спрашивают.

@@manardwidar8682 Получается аааабббалденный ! Только вот у меня чуток больше воды уходит :) Я и раньше , 11-12 лет делаю хлебушки из льна , но этот рецепт - самый лучший ! И у меня получается 9 булочек , мне так нравится больше - булочки Кишечник работает класс , а от хлеба и не отличить ! Может только я так ?! Не знаю , давно уже привыкла ко льну :)

I made this last night and I messed up by not grounding the linseed properly but seriously when I toasted it and put some butter on it I was blown away. I am going to try it again after I finish this one which is quite dense. I am going to make this each week. Thank you!

thank you so much for this recipe, my body responded really well to the bread, I can honestly report that I felt inflammation diminish from the first slice and it's filling too. I'm now baking this every two days. It's such a relief to be able to make a quick sandwich again.

Chléb je opravdu chutný a jde snadno upéci pole receptu cca 50 minut na 180 stupňů. Pozor ale na dávkování! Lněná semínka ve větším množství zvýší počet návštěv wc. Klidně i 5x denně. V krajním případě vyvolají gastrické potíže. Je vhodné více pít vodu.

@@TheMchefshe does have it. You have to click on more under her video. The oven temperature is 355 degrees and she says to cook for 45 to 50 minutes but I cooked a little longer. I just made it a couple of days ago.

Thank you thank you thank you! A beautiful and delicious bread, which is going to be my staple recipe now. It is so easy to make, no weird ingredients, no special tools or gadgets, no mixer or kneading, I just stirred mine with a spoon and then shaped it by hand. I was keen to try out the recipe straight away after watching the video, but didn't have baking powder, so I replaced the 2 tsp of baking powder with 1/2 tsp baking soda (=sodium bicarbonate) and 1 tsp white vinegar, which worked fine.

Thank you so much for this great recipe. Even with grinding the seeds fresh, this is so much quicker and easier than traditional bread, but I can eat it! I really appreciate the time you took in the comments for troubleshooting issues. Mine didn't turn out quite right, likely cause I was attempting this after a very long day, but it's still tasty and I look forward to doing it again in a few days and with some of your delicious suggestions! Thank you for your time and I'm sorry people are so quick to leave negative comments when they can't be bothered to check the description or follow the recipe.

I made this today. Came out well but for those who doesn’t like the slimy texture of flax this is definitely not for you.. the taste is also quite potent which I didn’t like to be honest. On the upside it feels light (digests easily) great source of fiber and doesn’t cause bloating like wheat does. Edit: this morning I had a great experience in the washroom. It was one of the best poops I’ve ever seen I didn’t need to even wipe more than once lol for this reason I will continue to eat this bread. I made 2 loaf’s one with powdered flax one with ground flax and I personally liked the ground flax compared to the powdered one.

I cannot stop telling others about this amazing recipe you shared, and everybody wants to try it, so next time I'll be baking a few extra loaves. I do, however, have a request. A number of years ago I did keto. I had so much trouble with “breads” using psyllium husks ( what Metamucil is ). “ breads that were hollow, “ breads” that were spongy wet ( 🤢), over and and over I threw them out, wasting so much money! Never again. Then I found a recipe that used yeast, bread that had the texture of bread, smelled like bread, rose like bread, tasted like bread, could be used like bread. I made this keto bread and buns weekly. It was very low carb, something like 2 or 3 carbs for a big hamburger bun. Can’t remember the video that I used for inspiration. It had lupin flour in it.. THAT was just like real bread.

Thanks for the recipe, I just baked it now. I used the store bought grounded flaxseeds, it raises triple in size. It think it works because I used the pizza stone and baked it in my stainless steel AirFryer. 😊

@@Livingwise88 I baked at 330F for 30 min, then 350F for 20 min, total 50 minutes. I used whole brown flaxseeds. I used the vitamix to grind the seeds to flour. Hope this helps!

It looks awesome! I have three questions though, would it rise just as yours? Isnt it tok much of flaxseeds - we are suppose to eat no more than 2 tbs a day? Finally, would it have this fishy odor cause of the flax seeds - mine always smellscl. Thank you so much in advance !

Try using brown flaxseeds instead and grind yourself just before using it (not the shop-bought ready milled)

I baked this bread today. It turned quite dense and undone. I used 40g of whole psyllium husk (powder like). I understand there is psyllium husk and psyllium husk powder in the market. When I measured 1 tbsp of psyllium husk it only weighed 5 grams if so 3 tbsps will be 15 grams

Thank you for the best tasting gluten free bread that I’ve ever had, really addictive flavour and most importantly it stays super moist, even after several days. The one minor problem I’m having is that the inside bottom half of the loaf is still quite dense and the upper section is perfect. I’m following your recipe exactly. Do you have any suggestions, or slight adjustments that could remedy this issue. I am using whole flaxseed. Maybe a bit longer in the oven, maybe half a teaspoon of Xanthan gum?Please don’t take this as a criticism, it’s the best bread I’ve ever had, just want to perfect it

Hey, I am so glad you like it! I am not sure what could be changed, as I never had this issue. Maybe try different oven settings (bake with the fan on) or make two smaller loaves, etc. I hope this helps! :)

I turned the dough into 4 buns and yes, turned out better, maybe break them into 5 or six if you try them as mine were a bit on the huge side after baking! I also added onion powder to the mix, give a great flavour for burger buns@@randomhumans1395

Made this in my Ninja XL Grill multioven. VERY tasty, very similar to actual bread, thank you! The only thing that upset me is that even after an entire TWO HOURS of baking the centre collapsed and remained raw and pasty. Next time I made it, I even divided the dough into 2 buns, yet they still collapsed and had a pasty layer in the middle/bottom. Any suggestions?

The bread doesn't really rise much after baking. But if yours didn't rise at all, perhaps it's the amount of yeast you added.@@sofiesmith7590

It's cooling off right now. Followed the directions, except put it in a bread pan, filling about 1/3 of it. At one point it had risen about 3/4". At 50 m. it had gone back down and made a slight depression in the top. It did expand sideways about an inch. Any idea what I did wrong? Thanks! UPDATE: Loaf #2. Much better. Turns out the counter top oven I used was not working right. Now it doesn't heat at all. This time I used the Ninja Foodi on bake at 350F. 35 minutes and it looked done so I stopped. No bread pan this time. It rose nicely and tastes great, especially toasted.

Fourth try. Best yet. Used a Corning ware squarish bowl seven inches across at the top with rounded corners. Had to put an oven thermometer in the Ninja Foodi beforehand to find 350F; turns out setting 340F worked. It rose about double. I cut it in quarters and then sliced one quarter in half. Too thick for the toaster really. May cut the rest in thirds. The bottom was moist after cooling. turned it over and let it dry. May try cutting back to one cup ground flaxseed so it's not as thick. And, I now have twenty pounds of seeds on hand! Can't buy bread like this.

Depending on the type and freshness of your flax and psyllium husk You will get varied results You must really mix the dry ingredients well and really knead it well

Mine turned out quite dense and heavy, but the very outside had a nice crunch and lift. I used Bob's Golden Flaxseed Meal, added a touch of nutritional yeast, and kneaded the dough for maybe half a minute. Did not let it rest. Where'd I go wrong pleeeease?

I read that the store-bought meal often doesn't work because it's defatted. Please follow my original recipe and freshly grind the whole golden flax seeds for the best results.

I don't know why no one is saying it but flax bread is dense. It's a part of the texture. You didn't do anything wrong. I bake it all the time.
