This 450bhp M240i is INSANELY FAST!

Күн бұрынThis week we were lucky enough to experience @ss1bzzz INSANE 450bhp M240i. This car was hands down one of the quickest cars we have experienced on the channel running a stage 2 HCP map from Wrench Studios. Words cannot describe how staggeringly fast this car was thanks to a huge 6 cylinder engine in a car the size and weight of a shoe! The power delivery was relentless and the car builds speed quicker than cars way above its league which was nicely complimented by its seamless ZF gearbox. The M240i is a handful of fun, and at this level of performance, the car is completely transformed into a something a lot more than stock, once you have some heat in the Michelins, you grip and GO.

My dads got one of these and has had the exhaust modded. Silly fast, even as standard. Hope I can get it off him one day, as it’s pretty much the perfect car for me right now!

Yeah I’m sold on one. All be it a M140i for practicality reasons, but a simple £700 remap and it can do that ? No brainer 😍

@@Bitofpizza the engine and gearbox are an absolute dream team. Map, LSD, M3/M4 suspension tweaks and a gearbox flash make these near enough an M car without all the silly running costs. No brainer really!

Debating on either a M240i or 440i with M sport trim. 4 series looks so much nicer but the M240i is going for dirt cheap nowadays 🤔

Honestly you can’t go wrong with the M240i, this car was the fastest car we have had on the channel, puts the power down effortlessly and sounded insane doing so.

As you said, a great car for 22-23 year olds but after how much I had to pay for mine, fair play to any 22 or 23 who can afford that. I definitely couldn’t have at that age (without resorting to extremes like eating Tesco value bread for every meal!).

there were a lot of opportunities to make money for people at that age there still is but not so easily plus there’s quite a few who still live at home so they have spare cash

A monthly finance payment for an M240i is quite a bit cheaper than rent/mortgage… It’s just great that we can get such high performance cars for relatively little cash. £20k for a good M240i, £700 for downpipe and stage 2 and you have a 450bhp car that will probably run for 200,000+ miles. The B58 is a stunningly good engine…

@@Bitofpizza think what he’s saying is that it’s probably running more than that, as these run higher figures than quoted. So, the stated numbers are possibly conservative.

@@samculpan891 nah. A stage 2 on e30 450 wheel horse power is about right. If you go in the b58 fb group you can see lots of dynos. My m240i makes this one seem stock. Look into XHP transmission tune. Fit that thing with a hpfp and pure800 turbo and it will see another 100 wheel hp on a conservative tune. Follow my insta 1fast240
