Thank you to everyone here who is vegan for the animals. I would like to interview Rich. I’d like to talk to him vystopia and veganphobia. Do you think he experiences either of them? I don’t. I think he never talks about the animals because he never considers them in his veganism. Am I wrong? Can someone point to where he has ever talked about their intense and never-ending suffering and our moral duty to be vegan for THEM (not for ourselves).

Finding like hearted humans, not like minded, who are coming from the same place of compassion and love and in the like heartness we can be open minded to different thoughts, ways, become comfortable with not knowing, grow. A total paraphrasing but still so golden and beautiful

Mr Obrien, thank you for everything you shared here. I greatly appreciate your comment about the double standard. It's nice to hear such an accomplished man say it out loud. Mr Roll, as usual, this is a wonderful interview. Very insightful, it is so good to have the words for finding/take note of like hearted people. I love that!❤ I take pause at your concept of what is the "everyman." It is misleading. If you are calling Mr Obrien that because he doesn't have the level of fame and athletic accomplishment as say David Goggins, well, I see your point. He is, of course, exceptional in his brilliant mindfulness and encouragement. Hard work is obviously something he is very familiar with!!! But make no mistake, he is not every man. I am a nurse working in Arkansas and make a middle class income.Your average "everyman" in the US would have become bankrupt from medical debt and would very likely have lost at least a leg in a similar situatuon. He received exceptional and privileged care that is all too often reserved for the affluent people in America. All that aside, yes, he is brilliant and incredible and inspiring. But one is lacking relatable sensitivity and understanding to think even a small majority of Americans would have the resources his high paying job and insurance allowed him, so he was able to continue with the life he has. I fear this reply will make me sound angry or bitter, which I am not. I do wish M Obrien or you would have acknowledged he was and still is financially very privileged compared to the average American.😮

God bless the NHS in the UK, the same standards of care are available to all regardless of income. Yes it's under resourced and Brits rightly complain about this, but may this core principle never be compromised!

Totally agree, his neighbor was a Doctor, M.D. and certainly made a huge difference in his care. That is Rare for most people. Many are totally ignored by the medical establishment with very serious illnesses. His experience is very rare and privileged. His corporation and his mentors offered amazing influence also. Most do not have that. This is not something any of us can expect.

100% correct. He obviously had elite level access to highest medical care. "Normal" would be stonewalled as a trauma case, not getting 5-star surgeons, being forced to accept worst case scenarios, languishing in substandard rehabs. And that's just the medical care. But he also had the private tour of Auschwitz and the executive coaches for his mindset.

There are 'martyrs' who give out of codependency. They give as away to avoid their own misery. They aren't happy, but just avoiding their own misery by focusing on others. I know because I have done that myself. Cults are similar.

This has been the hardest interview to get through. I survived something I shouldn’t have and really struggled. Rather than being grateful, I had a “f it, I shouldn’t be here” attitude which was terrible. I’m appreciative of this interview. The toughest ones are the most impactful. I still don’t know where I’m headed but I’m better for this. I would like to hear from people who didn’t go straight to a place of gratitude - or maybe that’s the story I tell. 🧐❤️

So I signed up on the Pause Breathe and Reflect App. His comments on breath-work and meditation being granola hit home for me and I laughed out loud when he was saying that to Rich! I know that I need to be more present and mindful. Sitting meditating in silence is way too hard for me. Only a few days in on his format, but I like the vibe and how short these guided meditations are. I would like to have this guys chill attitude, even just a little bit. Love the concept about rippling, and PBR. I know that I have to “do the work”, but I’m really enjoying this format. The world needs more bridges, not more walls. This guy is building bridges! Peace.

Covid was a shock because we were used to having a cure or a vaccine that prevented an epidemic. It was a wake-up call in a sense. At this time, after accepting awareness that we are one, our country splits and we slide straight into either Democratic freedom or dictatorship and the King and his slaves. We are once again apprehensive about where our country is headed. Love and kindness again awaits …. ❤. Loved your podcast, it does give me hope and trust that common sense and kindness will win and become the new ripples.

If it were my world, I would send all teenagers to travel to a country if of a completely different language and culture, have them live with a family of another religious faith for a week or two. They would see how most cultures and religions are fundamentally the same. They want to be neighbourly, worldly , be open and kind, to be honest and help out families in need bc anyone could end up homeless, penniless. Travelling to Spain and living with a Spanish family opened my eyes. I wish that on everyone. My husband who’s Welsh went on a “high-school” 2 week cruise, publicly funded . They got the travel with fresh eyes. It’s important to feel vulnerable and get through with a smile and that vulnerableness to make your way, taking that risk. At least , students should be able to do these exchanges within their own countries. And taking care of all different types of animals…. All of the above is teaching empathy, which I feel is lacking these days :( The simplest, cheapest version is, talk to everyone from everywhere. Don’t be afraid. Everyone has a story. But it’s not my world.

I appreciate many use god as protector. I agree with this gentleman on “if that were the case, then…” events happen in life. Best to just take as it comes and try to keep thoughts positive. Spirituality , being connected to all and the earth is the best way to live.

Thank you to everyone here who is vegan for the animals. I would like to interview Rich. I’d like to talk to him about vystopia and veganphobia. Do you think he experiences either of them? I don’t. I think he never talks about the animals because he never considers them in his veganism. Am I wrong? Can someone point to where Rich has ever talked about their intense and never-ending suffering and our moral duty to be vegan for THEM (not for ourselves). And what about you? Have you seen Dominion Movement on KZfaq yet? If so, come to my channel‘s comment section to tell everyone what you saw.

Thanks for this amazing inspering Podcast, I have similar experience but actually wanted to died and was ready for it. When I woke up from Colon Ractal Cancer sugery at 20.5 years old , I was pissed but the Medical team made me appriciate and I turned my behaviour around and inspired others to cope with this illness as the outcome is for life, which is pretty disgusting but life goes on. I am grateful for everything. Just sadden by humans around me who judge me for the colour of my skin and I made the mistake of moving to Australia from UK which is a racist country and makes me wanna cry , I am very active , motivated, upbeat person and found some individuals are threatend by me without understanding me. So I keep away from these nasty Australians (not all)

This was such an interesting episode because Rich showed this amazing person such respect by actually listening to him. So weird actually. Rich will have double PHD guest on and just talk over them and interrupt them constantly but then he as "the every day man" on and he really listens and didn't interrupt this person really even once. Great to see but I can't figure Rich out.

Rich, thank you for this wisdom. 🙏. For another unknown, yet profound guest, would you please consider Dr. William R. Miller? He’s a deeply humble human and the co-creator of the best-practice evidence based method of being and communicating with each other that embodies the way of approaching other humans that you discuss around 1:37:30 in this interview. Thank you or anyone on your team for this consideration for a profound shift in how we see and are being with another in a learnable, teachable, measurable, and practical way🙏 Even more fascinating is his authoring and thinking of his most profound life’s work in a book called “Quantum Change.”

Great podcast. I love listening while doing busy work but they are all sounding the same with one thing..."like, like, like, like, like, like, like" at around 1:14, 7 of them in one remark by the host. It's pervasive and adults are now sounding like Valley girls of the 90's. or today's kids from 5 - 35. How you project yourself matters in adult situations. As a boss interviewing...I would say "Next !"
