for those who experience overheat just disable the cpu turbo boost (there's some videos if you don't know how to) and you'll notice a HUGE difference and of course the fps will drop a little bit but i think it's a fair trade. For the battery just uninstall the antivirus and some apps you won't use. Hope this helps

Got mine from Walmart as well for $479 and my goodness it's wonderful. I have a PC with a 5700x3D and 4090 so although I'm used to 4k 144hz this has been great to bring to work because I use it during my long break I get every day and it's fantastic

I just bought this as my very first laptop. For the price of $638USD it's the best i could do for my budget for both casual Internet browsing and alittle online gaming. It can tend to get a little warm pretty quickly especially when gaming and the battery life could be better but overall im happy with it. Thanks for doing a video reviewing this particular laptop!

I just got mine and so far I havent had any issues BUT you ARE paying 620 USD for a gaming laptop so for that budget I'd say they nailed it pretty damn well. I bought it for video editing, music production on bandlab etc and games like Lethal Company, fortnite, Rocket Leage emulating etc. I didn't buy this thing thinking it will run RDR2 on ultra settings or Warzone on max settings. So yeah I don't get why people are hating on this thing. If you want demanding titles to run on a laptop spend atleast 1200 USD MINIMUM

@@theviralstuff4460 I've used a variety of laptops, and this one probably has the least of cooling and noise problems. I just got done playing modded Fallout 4 for 7 hours straight and the fan kicked on but it wasn't any louder than a ps4. I also use it flat on my kitchen table. No cooler or stand. I didn't even pass 90 degrees celsius on the cpu or igpu. Hope this helps!

@KasenReed Look man I'll be honest here, this is very much not the best gaming machine out there, you can probably play at 4k but with severely lowered graphical settings, it can barely raytrace, and the battery life isn't great, if you want a pure gaming monster then the series x is cheaper than this anyway, but if you want something to work, study, and play games with, this does the job well, me personally I got it because it was my only choice with the budget my dad has given me. Don't get it purely for the games, for the price get a series x or better yet a desktop PC. But also this plays all the games I play at high setting great, which are: -Gta V -Fortnite -Minecraft with shaders -Hollow Knight -Forza Horison4/5 -F122 -F123 -Watch dogs 2 -Watch dogs legion -Any Fifa game tbh -Valorant -Call of duty warzone -Battlefield 4 -Battlefield 5 -Pretty much any indie game Some of these you can tickle down Some settings at medium or low to get even better performance, but it's not really noticeable, they are there for reference and for you or anyone else to judge accordingly. Plus the screen is very yellowish i had to manually colour correct the RGB of the screen . The green of the screen is way off . The factory settings of the screen is very bad. Not a bad screen if you callibrate it.

Damn dude, that hurts. In about 500 dollars, waiting for the sales and constant checking prices overnight, i got one with a gtx 1650 in India. This costs much higher here. Imagine being poor and still paying about 150 dollars extra in import taxes.

This laptop only has one fan and overheats easily. Good for the price i guess though. Personally the heating issues alone puts it out of my book Pros: it does also have a laptop hard drive slot inside for extra storage

This laptop chassis was one of the first thin bezel designs by MSI and has been around since 2018, currently typing on my years old GTX 1650 version. No idea why MSI still builds these almost 6 years later, as they have so many other models and most gaming laptops stick around for 3 years at most. That metal surface scuffs when taking in and out of bags and leaves a wear mark after closing the lid many times.

I bought one, took it out of the box, fired it up the fan wouldn't quit, and the PC was scratched. Back it went. Go cheap, get cheap. Many videos about this laptops problems.

you can uncap fps with this command: fps_max 0 Find "Enable Developer Console" in setting and enable it, then in game hit "~" button on your keyboard to bring up the CS2 console, and enter command.

first 4 months are good but after that the thermal paste dries up and the overheating is too much even when loading browser tabs. I have I7 11800h variant. Honestly gaming laptops are scam issue of overheating can not be solved it takes regular maintenance the performance hit is just too bad. desktop PC is the way to go .

I need a new laptop mostly for video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. HP Victus i5-12500H (12 cores - 4p+8e) RTX 3050 4gb OR MSI i7-12650H (10 cores - 6p+4e), RTX 3050 6gb VRAM. Both are same price. Any help would be appreciated

You'rs is better quality, although I'd never buy a gaming laptop. I bought a Steam Deck which is better in everyway, smaller and will last MUCH longer.

otherwise this laptop has been good but when i play fortnite i only get 60 fps or if i try to turn on 120 fps it only gets about 90 fps. do you have any tips how to fix it?

install dual channel ram if u haven't and use optimized settings

I recently bought the msi gf63 i7 rtx 4050 g6b but when i run apex i get a lot of stuttering even playing on medium settings? Is there something i should do possibly to improve it? I have already upgrraded RAM from 8gb to 32GB but the stuttering remains :/

@@purehollow4460 ssd I just got a new 1TB one as the one in it currently is a 512GB I also got a 1TB SATA HDD to go in it today as well as the new 1TB SSD
