I meet up with ‪@NVMotorsportUK‬ to finally check out their INSANE Stage 3 BIG TURBO M2! It runs a whopping 625BHP on race fuel, and 590BHP on pump fuel & meth, making it the WORLD'S FASTEST OG N55 M2!!

This should for once and for all dispel the notion that the M2 variant of the N55, was not the real deal. All of us OG M2 owners know that the M division did some special work on the mill. It was tuned for the track and that means hours of sustained performance and reliability. Nice to see NV unlock the true potential of the OG M2.

What do you mean not the real deal? I’ve been looking into m2’s recently and it seems a lot of people love the og m2 with the n55 and 6 speed transmission. People claim there is a rawness and pure-ness to them compared to the later models and the s55 m2’s, and despite having the lower powered n55, it’s a better driving experience.

@@KAS470 Yeah, the later variants were heavier and not as reliable. The air to water intercoolers have started to cause a few problems.

Very early to this video, coincidentally had it in my recommended after watching another video :D I sent you an email a few weeks back asking about the possibility of working with you on custom closed captioning / subtitles for the channel but not heard anything back. No. You need to upgrade the turbo to hit 6.

Amazing machine mate! Very fast for sure , but there is one M2 same model in Sao Paulo with almost 1100hp, so i dont this one is the fastest in the world !

These cars really arnt my type at all, but you got to respect the work some of their owners have put into them. OFC some are just pay someone else to do it, pretend they're into cars but cant afford an AMG, but this is a work of art.

Mabz is a cool guy... but not the worlds fastest OG M2 (thats a big statement to make)........ my OG M2 makes 680WHP and still room to squeeze out more HP, and i dont think im the worlds fastest!

🤣🤣🤣 47 mpg at 70 mph on a motorway 🤣🤣🤣 No way will you get 47 mpg in that M2. Your injectors are fooling the ecu in to thinking you are getting better mpg due the the difference in spray pattern of the bigger injectors 😉 Nice car though.

@@ajh5552 we have configured wastegate to stay closed 20% upto 33% throttle in comfort mode at speeds upto 80mph.. we have increased fuel pressure to give a cleaner burn at a leaner state 1.04lambda. This allows us to treat the car almost naturally aspirated while maintaining good torque and boost modulation.
