Great explore. The older generation, especially in Europe, was really into alternative over Western medicine. My parents, who are no longer present...bless them, always went to their books on alternative medicine for medical advice. Such a nostalgic vibe to explore someone's life after they've gone.

The sea crane is a dredger they are used to keep channels deep enough for local fishing boats or for harvesting gravel from the shallows. They still have a working one at well-next-the-sea or they did, haven't been there since before the pandemic.

It makes me think of our mortality in a hundred years we won't be here either.I enjoy old house explores and seeing how they lived .It would be nice to go back in time for a day and experience what this couple's lives were like.Proper little time capsule full of their memories. Cheers Matt xx

Hi Matt, another interesting explore,what a shame …with a bit of work this would make a lovely home in a beautiful location… It’s refreshing to see you show so much respect ,empathy and thoughtfulness towards the previous elderly owners and their possessions, I’m fast approaching 60 and can remember exploring old empty and abandoned properties in my youth, this was all done with curiosity and interest and strictly no vandalism or theft, but back then if you was to get caught you would be up in front of the magistrate,how things have changed…can’t get my head round the Paranormal , K2 etc but will keep an open mind ,interesting tho 👍 Keep uploads coming Matt you’ve got a clear talent for this…100% Thank you…Ed

I left a similar comment on adams vid i wanna see these places get saved and revamped and donated to fams in need of a place to live. it would be really cool subscribers could help out and donate funds to raise to save these places and stuff it would make for an wicked tv show or another youtube channel and get people to these places and start getting the saving abandoned home project in motion, forward the idea to your fellow youtube vid makers! :D

that isn't a clochette hook it is a carpet hook - in the old days they used to make their own rugs with hessian from old sacks and wool or rags - the carpet hook made it easier to loop the thread or rag strip through the hessian - my gran had one and she taught me how to do it!
