When I was 11 years old I saw an advertisement in field and stream magazine for land in Montana. I said then, "One day I'm gonna have land and live in Montana." I bought land here at 20 years old and have been living here, well since before I went grey. When Billy stopped for that moment as he spoke about 27 year old Billy's choices.. I felt that. Billy is 100% right, Don't waste time, act on the direction you wish to go and the life you want to have. I can be having the hardest, dirtiest toughest day and I still find myself smiling about where I am and what I'm doing. An 11 year old me started that. 👍

@@skyjacker99 Long reply but what you're going through deserves one I think. I also got divorced in my 40s (married 20 years) and lost my mother to cancer that same year. I learned some valuable lessons. One was, no matter how much you try to be prepared to lose a parent, you will not be prepared. The saving grace for me was having a beautiful relationship with my mother. The first thing I ask myself was when it happened was "how would she want me to handle this?" No parent wants their child torn apart in loss and pain forever. Mourn, cry, but live the life they gave you the best you can to honor them. On the divorce, forgiving and moving on was the best thing I did for me. Realizing I had been living my life for someone else's dreams and direction made me realize, I now had a chance to start a second life for myself, my own direction. I got squirrelly for a while before I settled into my new direction but I think that was part of the new freedoms and searching for the right direction. You will get through all of this and one day you might be the one leaving a long comment hoping to help someone else out. Stay strong. 👍

I was having a not so good day until my wife and I were sitting on the patio reflecting on it. Then I did something I don’t usually do and that was to focus on the “wins” of the day. Even though the wins were few I was with her, our heath is good, bills are paid and my wood rack is full. All is very well in my little world. Thanks, Buckin, for showing me how to focus better.

Im going to get a 79 F150 for my tree business. It's my future father in laws and he built it for pulling, it's got a built 460 with 1 ton suspension. It just needs a bed and I'm good with a welder so I'm building a flat bed cust for me But I plan on painting it green and white two tone if you wouldn't mind, partly because I think green and white looks sweet but also because if it weren't for you Buckin I don't think I would have gotten into tree cutting

I made the mistake of letting a”quick lube” shop change my oil when I had come in from a trip and over on my mileage. I had been a mechanic for 40 years then and ALWAYS done all my own repairs even oil changes and tire rotations, but I was just too tired to fool with it. To make a long story short…..they started it up WITHOUT the oil. Needless to say, I was not happy and neither was those guys when I got thru gnawing on them. It was a good thing I was watching and caught it in time. It was my first and last time at one of those joints. Change your own oil….you’ll thank me for it 😊

Them not changing your oil is a blessing in disguise. The last time I got a oil change at a lube/oil change place they F'd up the hood latch on my car. The last time I got tires put on at a tire shop they broke my cars window. Needless to say, I do all that stuff on my own now. I was the tire/oil change guy at my dad's gas station in the 90's it's not hard to do that stuff lol.

They didn't go that far back in the computer, for it to tell them where the lift points were! Argued with them that it has a full frame, and would be like a '93, if they'd look that up. Nope. Here I sit at 20 years old thinking about my life. I’ve hit a turning point in my life. As most young guys can relate to I recently got kicked out of the fathers house. Maybe I’m right maybe I’m wrong doesn’t matter the past is the past. All that’s left is for me to decide what I want to make of myself and get it done. Luckily I have family that takes care of me so I won’t go without a roof over my head. The point of this rambling I guess is that life will only ever be exactly what you can make of it. I may be young but it hasn’t taken me long to figure out I can accomplish any damn thing I want as long as I work hard enough to get it done. I’m planning on buying my own land in the next couple years and working it myself and making it into a place I’m proud of. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and no matter how bad life kicks you down find the good that will always come from it. I got kicked out last Saturday 8/12 I spent the course of the next week figuring out what I had to do to get me down the road and now it’s a week later almost 8/17 and I have managed to find a fifth wheel trailer to use as a bachelor pad and my boss has space to help me out with finding a safe place to live. So no matter how bad things get just remember they will yes WILL get better you just need to push harder to get through the bad times. And love everyone that helps you grow unconditionally and ignore anyone that doesn’t care about your feelings and opinions they’ll never help you as a person to grow or flourish. Hope someone makes sense of this rant/testimony and sees the message at the core of it, good luck and Godspeed to everyone who watches BBR videos just like me!

If I recall, a PH8A fram number will fit most old Fords, including the FE big blocks. I'm not a fan of fram stuff anymore, but you can always cross reference it with a wix(maybe a 51515?) or napa gold(wix makes the napa gold filters too) Very simple stuff, those old engines. The only filter that might out perform a wix is a K&N. p.s. You're probably better off selling the truck than letting one of those big name oil change places touch it, as it seems likely you've already discovered. p.s.s. Jeff's bronco graveyard, LMC, dennis carpenter are all decent places for new sheet metal. Most of their stuff is from solid manufacturers.
