Mr. Smith, I’m a 73 year old, 5’8”, 170lb. Retired man from Northern New Hampshire, U.S. I see the joy in your eyes as you get your cord loaded on your truck. I’ve been getting wood (6-8 cords) for my wood boiler for the last 14 years so I can relate. I’m overjoyed when I get my wood cut, split and stacked for the heating season. God bless you and thank you for sharing your kind, gentle spirit. I wish I could send you a picture of my set up. You make me laugh so hard when you do “The Drifter”, while driving your truck. Ed

We are similar in age and this channel is about 50/50 cutting and splitting firewood and just friends talking to one another and being lifted up though we may never meet face to face it is a beautiful thing. Don’t know if you live close enough to attend the Bunyan event in Ohio but if you can it will lift you up like to a new level. Blessings my friend. 🙏👍♥️

Afternoon Billy, just getting into your video. Too hot to cut wood and like you back issues. Central Florida here. Love my Mac's like you. Believe it is 6 or 7 , a 359 husky ported and muffler job. And one Homelite in red X something. Say hi to Donny for me. ( wrist pin tool guy I talked to a year or two ago. Said he still uses his dad's. I told him to take the specs I sent him and make some. He can do what he wants after that. Not looking for a thing. Maybe give them out as free gifts at the Paul Bunion , or Ohio gig. Or some of your subs too.! Got to keep our old iron running and that was my gift to Donny to carry on keeping on. Take care up there in God's country. Hope the fires aren't where y'all are. Ok, once a Michigan boy out . 👍🏻

Thankyou Buckin, I lost my Dad awhile back. You remind me of him alot. Integrity, respect, morals, humility, just your true concern to see peoples lives improve for the better. You are much loved by many and I thankyou much. I used to tree climb 20 years. I have now had three back surgeries. And I take no opoids, truly I am blessed. I no longer climb. But I do what can. So thankyou for all your motivation. And Godbless.

It is the simple things in life that can bring us joy if we allow it to....and not look it as drudgery. Love you Buckin. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

On my big and gnarly knotted up pieces of ANY kind of wood that I have to split I have a tendency to noodle those big rounds in half. It’s the only way that “MY” poor axmanship self can get those things to split. Once their in 1/2 it’s MUCH easier going, but in my current (almost 100 degree daily) hot weather situation I just can’t work past 8:00AM, and even then, it looks like I’ve got a sprinkler going on out of my head. Good, bad, or indifferent, it’s how I FEEL! Remember that I’m the one that told YOU that trick about low-range in the t-case; whether you heard it from me first or not. 😊
