CyCrown CycUltra is a full suspension electric bike with 9 gears on the rear cassette. This ebike features a Bafang brand 750 watt nominal motor with strong hill climbing ability and a top speed of 28 mph. For an ebike under $1500 your money gets you a good amount of features.
The 48v 15ah battery gives you solid range while helping to keep the weight of the bike in check compared to larger 20+ah battery packs that tend to bulk the bike up.
Fenders come at an extra cost, but at least you don't suffer the weight penalty of lugging them around if you're a fair weather rider like myself.

I love watching your no BS ebike showcases. You are quick and to the point,I know after watching all the important facts and details on how that particular bike operates. I then make a mental note whether I think it’s a piece of junk or I bike I would want to ride. I’m in the process of shopping for a replacement to my 4 year old Level and I’m strongly leaning towards the Wired I’m torn between the Freedom and the Cruiser do I really need their mediocre rear suspension or should I get the girls bike and add Cane Creek post and a fat seat, I might just wind up going heads or tails on that decision as it’s always worked half the time for me. It’s winter right now in the People’s Republic of New York so I must make a decision before the comrade’s in charge make it illegal to make your own decisions. Ride often Ride Fast Ride Ride Ride

As always your reviews are great. I can see the advantage of adding a 9th gear for a road bike, but does the 9th gear offer enough to minimize ghost pedaling in the high gear rangeon this E-bike? This isn’t a comment on this review it’s just a thought from someone that doesn’t know much about Ebikes. I’ve been a fan of your channel as I looking for a new bike. Here is my question I’ve seen in some reviews your weren’t getting accurate speedometer readings due to the wrong size tire size programmed in the bike software, I recall you going from 26 to 28 to correct the speed to Mach your phone. Now here is what I want to know if the bikes software cuts the power when you reach max speed can you fool it by programming in a smaller tire size. Hopefully I got that right and it’s not a larger tire size but it’s almost 3 am and I’ve been up since 7 am and I’m not think straight. I’ll check back for an answer keep up the beautiful videos

Hey Matt, what are those two e-bikes, next to those three hens at 16:36? On a separate note: I have not seen it when I searched your channel, but have you reviewed the Hanevear H100 dual motor folding bike? I just bought one, $1240 out the door price. Looking at the specs and everything on the bike in detail, the thing is worth far more than that, IMO in $2,000 territory. It is a solid performer and the southern California distributor/retailer does NOT limit the speed, which is a nice touch. Out of the box I had it up to 33 mph on the San Francisco flatlands, and up Nob Hill, throttle only at 20 mph. Sorry for the video hijack. (Not really, my late loving mother always finger-wagged that I must always apologize when I'm being boorish.)

You put videos out faster than any other ebike reviewer I swear ! I often wonder if you have to turn companies down cause you’re too busy… btw heard wd40 and a scrub pad can remove those burn out marks on your flooring it works to remove paint sometimes even.

I'd be more excited about these in-tube batteries if they were a standard size across multiple brands. Once the battery dies you're SOL unless you can find someone to rebuild the brick for you.

Hey what’s the cheapest e bike that goes average of 23 mph with duel suspensions that u would recommend buying Also love ur vids ur hill climb test is. A good one most other channels don’t have and my town is nothing but hills around average of 25-30ish percent grade for 4 blocks straight

In your area you'd definitely want 2 wheel drive. Most off the shelf 750w 48v bikes would be close to useless. Philodo h8 is brilliant for the money.

AND SO IT BEGINS! Legislation has been introduced in New Hampshire to classify any ebike THAT GOES OVER 15MPH as a regular motor vehicle and require registration, plates, licensing and insurance. And thats just the beginning. I've been warning about this for a year and YTers like this who post videos encouraging speeding, reckless riding and altering the safety protocols while aimed at teens are partly responsible. Look for similar legislation to be proposed in most other states over the next 12-24 months. A few Jeff Spicolis and 20%ers ruined it for everyone.

Interesting how you always end your ride with around half the battery pack left, funnily enough i end up with almost exactly 50% left after riding to work and then returning home which is 50.1v on my 52v 16.5ah battery. I ride 100% of my time throttle only on assist 5 and usually travelling at 30-35mph, no stops at all because I'm in the countryside. My display wattage readout is usually showing 1200-1450 watts and thats showing 50% after only 14 miles.

I'm so tired of Cadence bikes. The bike can have a lot going for it but then the crash.. Its a motorcycle with pedals that don't do anything. .. Sorry but just another bike with really nothing going for it.. Hope the ebike company's wake up..
