Your shipping box was the old box that allowed a lot of damage. The new upgraded shipping box has 2 hand holds on each side as well as the ones on the ends and the ebikes are also packed better so there has been no reports of damage like scratched paint that you mentioned. The new boxes have been mentioned on the BeeCool Owners group several times with pics and you guys are members. Also a new metal front light is supposedly brighter than the old one you tested.

Just got mine pretty impressed so far actually better quality than I thought I lucked out every thing lined up o damage shipping and one thing I had questions about shipping and a color change which they took care of right Away . Thankyou BeeCool. Nothing pisses me off more than companies that can’t be reached after purchase so beecool👍👍 Bitchen bike but would be nice to upgrade forks and shock but these are fine unless your used to a motocrosser. Of course More power always never satisfied for the price I’m really impressed 👍

Most people in that group have had complaints with scratches on the battery and the bike right under the battery, including myself, within the last few weeks. I do recommend the bike though as it's a great bike at a great price. Beecool does have great customer service and will take care of any issue you have- although their quality control sucks,as again, lots of people do have issues. In fact, my battery charger didn't even work upon receiving this but Beecool did take care of me. It's a great bike and a great company with great customer service but poor quality control- but they will take care of you.

@@nathandietrich222 not true that Most buyers had problems with over 3500 Beecool ebikes delivered to mostly happy customers. A battery charger not working is very very rare and not even a BeeCool labeled product. The new heavy duty shipping box will be used on the original models soon that will solve most of the issues.

@@MotorizedBicycleRaceok so not true MOST people out of the thousands sold. That was a hyperbole. But LOTS of people still have issues. I was in that fb group. And Beecool stated after 10/3 last year they would change the box and well LOTS of people,I actually asked in the group, and the majority just 3 weeks ago did state they had scratches on the bike and a few, like 4-5, stated they were getting new battery cases sent to them and one was even waiting on the front fork as his was damaged. So Beecool has bad quality control but great customer service and a great bike at a great price. In fact if they just paid for a qc supervisor, they could even charge a hundred more, and they'd easily- in my opinion- own the ebike market. They absolutely take care of their customers but too many people are receiving their bikes either with lots of scratches and some even receiving the bike inoperable til they get their parts. I ❤️ my Beecool bike and highly recommend them just people need to understand they may come scratched or even inoperable upon receiving them but they will get it taken care of.

I just turned over 1200 miles in 6 months on my beecool adventurer. And yes have had great adventures. Nice review and i would like to add comment. I commute to and from work daily 8 miles round trip. My average speed is 22-23 mph. Top end is 26. I do run lower pressure tires for comfort and traction. With my short trips i have yet to drop the battery level more than 2 bars. That small led headlight projects super bright i give it a both thumbs up! and it has a definative top cutoff line so it can be adjusted as to not blind traffic albeit wimpy taillight and blinkers. The frame itself is sturdy and super clean welds. The offset battery does not detract from comfort nor performace. The seat is comfortable and easily adjustable. The suspension has serious issues however front forks are not stable for side to side flex along with the rear suspension. Together the whole bike tends to wobble side to side dangerously under certain conditions to a concerning level. The rear shock is not adjustable and is set for what seems to be 1000lbs. I have yet managed to compress the rear suspension even 1mm as if rear suspension is non existent. Your rear rack appears to have been bent in shipment. Mine was straight. The wimpy frame of the rack severed just above both upper mounting bolts and also adds to bike wobble with any weight upon it. As for mis- aligned fenders easy fix is to bend the supporting rods along the side to a position that aligns the fender properly. My kickstand was severed at the pivot bolt, was unrepairable, and caused extreme difficulty in parking the bike. Beecool however expediently replaced it under warranty. They only asked for pictures of the broken part. Kudos beecool! Yes walk mode is basically run mode. Pedal assist has a consistant delay of 2 seconds of pedaling before engagement but ceases power quickly (under 1/2 sec) after ceasing pedaling. Shimano shifter is easy to control however tends to misalign and starts jumping gear position between 4th and 5th gear. Horn is behind the light but tends to dampen output level after soaking. 21amp hour battery is consistantly powerful. However had a code 6 error once and complete power loss condition. Pedalling strictly manually is a beast kind of like pedalling a truck. This bike is completely impractical as a pedal bike. Back to error code issue... after pedaling the beast the last mile home i completely exposed all the wiring to find connections that were insulated primitively with electrical tape. This was not the problem. So i opened the battery removed the connector and found an underpowered fuse of 30 amps had not blown but the legs of the fuse had overheated and melted the fuse housing to the point of failure. I replaced the fuse housing and with the proper 45 amp fuse had no further issue. Finely stitched and ergonomically formed handgrips give the bike good comfortable control. Brakes have power cutoff switch practical but when frozen in cold temperatures tends to continue cutting off power after applying the brakes. The hydraulic disc brakes are a plus for easy positive braking. The rear caliper bracket however is misaligned and positions pads with only 1/2 contact to the disc. The only remedy is to grind down the caliper mount to a level that lines the pads with the disc. This causes excessive wear using only 1/2 the pad. This bike has good low end torque for its rear hub 750 watt motor. The display has shown up to 960 watt output on numerous occasions. As for pedal assist i found it very useful for automatically cruising at different set speeds almost like cruise control. When i am not in a hurry but just want to cruise relaxed i noticed extreme power usage savings at between 200-300watts in 3rd gear still moving along at 15mph. With level 1 i can creep along trails at 5mph from 50 to 150w usage similar speed of "walk (run) mode". I am adding weatherproof ammo boxes as rear saddlebags one of which will hold my two 10amp aftermarket lion batteries switched through a 1,2,both switch. As for the wimpy blinkers i will draw from those circuits two sided led blinkers off the end of the handlebars for better vision. You can even install a beeper on the blinker circuit for audible confirmation. I pull a bike trailer for my 2 chihuahuas everywhere, i have a 20a 48v-12v buck converter to power a heated blanket inside the trailer for the dogs 🐕 🐕. I have considered placing a heated wrap around the battery for long trips in subzero weather. Blinkers, brake, and running lights will also be installed on the bike trailer thru a waterproof multi connector. I have 2 150watt bluetooth self powered speakers with subwoofers mounted on right and left of the rack which operate on right and left channel respectively to which music can be heard clearly at 1/2 mile with a phone mount on the handle bars. The display has a hidden usb power point to charge your phone while power is on. I bought a second 21a battery from beecool for $600 and a 30a charger for faster charging. I.e. complete charge in around 2 hours instead of 6 hours with the supplied 20a charger. Note: tips to aid in extending battery life, allow the battery to 'rest' for an hour before charging and leave the battery partially discharged when not in use. My 2nd battery fits perfectly for storage in the bike trailer when needed. For my offgrid home power system i just got 8-300w solar panels (2400w) thru a 60a solar controller for quick efficient charging of the bike from the sun 🌞. Overall this bike has changed my life, has brought me great pleasure, saves me all the expense of owning/operating and fuelling a vehicle, and connected me with nature in a more intimate level. I have ceased driving completely and am using this bike all year in all but deep snow weather conditions. I keep the bike in a heated environment in winter to avoid freezing cables, electronic components and most importantly lion batterys. I am confident on ice and run full speed. I am looking into studded winter tires and tube protectors for safety and durability. Overall for the price and manageable issues this bike is worth the value but would not buy this model again because of the incurable suspension wobble condition. I would recommend a bike with no rear suspension, a seat with suspension, and a full length front fork that affixes above and below fork tube. Hope this detail helps - enjoy 😉

I know many people esp. the Americans and Europeans dislike China for exporting their products abroad and thereby competing with the more expensive domestically made items but I for one am grateful to them for allowing consumers such as me who are not rich or even middle class to be able to own items which I'd otherwise not be able to afford.

@@wooooseyea. Assembled in USA from foreign and domestic parts. China kinda makes most everything, both garbage and high quality… people in the US seem to prefer buying junk and tossing it every few years which is a lot of low quality crap… like we see the container ships size and know there’s hundreds of them in and out daily… the vast majority of that stuff is a couple years away from your local landfill..not good. It’s hard to blame makers if their making money and people buy their stuff consistently then what do we expect? I’m not saying anything about this bike… but I’m listening at the end and it doesn’t sound like a decent quality product for a good price… sounds like a hit and miss product to me… if theirs is average then the best ones might be nice, but the worst ones will probably be trash. It’s an old vid, surely there’s better options now but I’d rather pay $3k for a bike that’s made to be repaired and kept in service and usable for a decade or more with maintenance and occasional repairs… this looks like 2 or 3 season special

BUT the price is $4,780. which includes a $1,000. intro discount. Very reasonable for the features.

Received my black Adventurer Dec 12 2021 and am very happy with it. I am 6' 230 lbs and ride on paths in the woods. The seat tube has ample adjustment for people of all heights. With the front suspension set to stiff, I find the suspension to be balanced with no "bottoming" but I am not jumping it. The bike will not resume acceleration if a brake lever is still slightly engaged as motor power is cut when the brake light is illuminated. For optimum battery condition, follow the instructions for the initial 3 charges. I added a handlebar riser and a short, angled stem along with 1/2" pedal extensions. The headlight is bright and provides plenty of distance and width. After-sale communication and support has been outstanding!

The walk mode isn't for flat ground. The walk mode is for very steep hills, where the bike wants to roll backwards and is very heavy to push. In this situation, the walk mode is nice to have, the bike will power itself up the very steep hill instead of having to push it by muscle. and when I say steep hill I mean very steep.
@Andrew-vt4jt
@Andrew-vt4jt 2 жыл бұрын
Even on steep hills the walk mode would be too much. It's awkwardly fast and just better to use the throttle. If yu watch our review on the Bikonit Warthog MD 750, the walk mode is much better.
@bob-ny6kn
@bob-ny6kn 2 жыл бұрын
Commenting here to agree with Andy Lin. We walk at 4km, but the walk mode is 8km, so it has a deadman switch. It is for grades too steep to ride or when stuck in the middle of a hill after a tumble. You could also use it to drag a big game carcass out to the fire road.

Ordered mine (Also a Green Adventurer) on November 4th. For $1,499.00 OTD (no sales tax or shipping costs). I researched a lot and for the cost, the capacity is unrivaled, the power is fine, the controller looks easy to replace with a higher amperage (maybe 30A vs the stock 22A cutoff), it has lights so I can easily upgrade them with existing wiring, hydraulic brakes, rear derailleur only (don't want a front), full suspension (can replace later), fat tires and a good look! Has the major components and everything else can be upgraded as I see fit and budget allows! Ready for it to get here.

There are a lot of great bikes out there and they continue to improve them and new ones keep coming up.

@Andrew-vt4jt

Hi Selene! Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate you always supporting the channel. The Aventon Aventure is a little more refined, but it doesn't have a rear suspension. The Aventon Aventure is $2000 vs the Adventurer, which is $1500. Some Aventon Aventure bikes have Shimano components and some have Sunrace components. Where the Bee Cool Adventurer has Shimano components, which I like better. The Aventon Aventure has a nice color display and an app, where the Bee Cool Adventurer has a black and white display. If you like a more refined look, the Aventon Aventure is designed better. However, if you are all about a budget buy and don't care for a color display or app, I find the Bee Cool Adventurer is better because it offers full suspension.

@@Andrew-vt4jt rear suspension and suspension in general is about worthless if its not a decent brand anyways. Honestly, they all are trash and some cases un safe. Decent is Rockshox, FOX, etc. Rule of thumb is fat bike tires provide some level of suspension so by just having a nice front fork, in many cases, is plenty if you are looking for comfort. To be honest, unless you are doing alot of downhill, you wouldnt need a middle suspension and in this case is just added weight. The fork on this bike is just a spring suspension that looks like its suppose to be 100mm and rated for a normal bike. This is an Ebike with lots of added weight so the fork literally bottoms out with you just riding down the road... This is why these cheap bikes are cheap, the components. The good ones and safe components are $$$. From the shocks to the drivetrain, always upgrade or dont pick up these cheaper versions. They all risk safety. And if you are getting a fat bike, no need for a middle shock if you are not going off road or hitting trails as you are just going to lose energy from correcting cadence and add weight for no real reason.

Thanks guys for a great review. I have been doing a lot of research and the Bee Cool adventure seems to have all the best features for a great price, almost too good to be true. I just put my order in and it was $200 off. I am 6'3" 250lbs and this is the first ebike I have found that has a 350lb weight limit. Seems like the frame is very heavy duty and also good for riders up to 6'4". I was also looking at the RAD ebikes but they are limited to 275lbs and did not have both front and rear suspension.

All these Chinese ebikes are the same, just different brands. I have an Addmotor and there are at least a dozen identical bikes under different brands. Mine is okay but not very sophisticated. I wish I had bought one with a rear suspension. It's a rough ride which I attribute to its weight. 75lbs. My bike arrived damaged but Addmotor sent new parts. That bike you have is a good buy.

I’m looking for a bike to shuttle me on single-track, gravel and highway to and from where I take-out my drift boat when fishing. I’ll leave it NY chained to a tree or something but eventually thieves will get it so I don’t want to spend a bunch of money. Also, the more one spends the more thieves attracted. This looks like an inexpensive but still functional option that I could ride in waders and attach gear to? Thoughts?

Like that you do not softball or over look even minor points, telling it straight. Would suggest a look at Espin line of E-Bikes, esp. the folding Nesta model. Appears to have a lot of bang for the buck features and performance for a folding E-Bike that seems to makes it an all around practical / fun performer. Worth a look ?

Greta review guys. The electric motor not picking up again is a major flaw. If it doesn’t pick up immediately, or at least within a half pedal stroke it is essentially Not an e-bike at that point. Imagine pedaling a 70lb. bike for no particular reason. That amperage on the bike is the best selling feature on the bike as the suspension showed it to was not flawless, so this will definitely not be my choice as a next bike.

They designed their walk mode incorrectly. Work mode needs to have a current limiter on it. If you have a current limiter say set to 2 amps then as you try to walk uphill or put some resistance it will slow down. Walk mode on here wanted to maintain a certain speed and it was pushing the rider faster than he could walk.
