I live in an area with a big population of apostolic Lutherans. They don’t believe in watching tv at all. They don’t have a single tv in any of their homes. As a kid I thought it was weird but I’m really starting to see why now. I’ve gotten to the point of watching no tv at home. Sometimes at other peoples houses I watch it though because I can’t control what people play in their own homes. Even then I just might give it a quick glance because I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t find it interesting. Now as for 2000 years - from what I understand, the "adversary"" had permission to work planet Earth (something like the book of Job) for 2000 years. Jesus' influence has endured for two millennia, so the adversary was not able to completely destroy the planet and its population, even tho it certainly tried. If the lease is up, perhaps it's time for a new age. ??? I watched the Woman King, I enjoyed it until their was a blood offering to a god in the movie. I was so MAD! It was literally witchcraft mad to look normal. I heard a prophet declare that John the apostle is still alive in prison after 2000 years saying John personally came to him in spirit claiming as Jesus said he would not die and is still alive on earth ... Big problem cause Jesus did not say he would live that long ... He said if I let him live until I return what is that to you Peter ... People greatly value this prophet and are willing to let the word be twisted for his sake ..... ..... Wow this word is key .. my eyes are opening more and more .. the key thought here is people who are seen as a prophet ... Over time they declare something supernaturally revealed to them that they have no choice but to twist scripture to justify that revelation ... If I made a clear video of each named prophet and what they falsely declared it would shock many .... And it all is packaged the same way for the same types of people ... People who didn't regard scripture as a test plate or as a text book with test answers in it .. like king Saul he never valued scripture but David Did we find no writings coming from king Saul like we do with David that why king Saul cared more about his own throne being protected then God's rule being protected David fought for the Lord's honor ... Same with rev moon who claimed to replace Jesus as savoir ... Jesus came to do things in a new way .. no more animal sacrifices no more stoning sinners no more mandating the rituals of the law .. but a higher level of purity is expected from his Servant's no more multiple wives so everything Jesus did was written .... One thing to wonder about anyone who claims to visit heaven is or hears from God is at any point do they ever disregard a biblical fact because of a revelation they received ... And to understand no one is exempt from being tested .. God tests all people that's what he does ... The pharisees created their own traditions rather then backing scripture and teaching scripture exclusively ... I hear often Bible teachers regarding marriage Israel had a tradition of this way to Marry or that way to Marry .. as though Israel's tradition is greater then God's revelation about it ... Example is Ezekiel 16.8 shows how God views a marriage arrangement and covenant and no witnesses needed in it just an agreement between man and his woman .. interesting thing is do you value the words from God over man .. ????
