This is not an anime reaction. Kind of an anime review or anime recommendation along with anime recap. Somewhat underrated romance anime to watch nowadays. I guess it's a new completed anime to watch for you guys. Not an isekai. I would say this makes it into my top 10 romance anime. And ATRI my dear moments would be another anime to look forward to this summer 2024 anime season

Kizuna Ai from her outfit to the meaning of her name was very obviously a fan fiction or homage of the message in Plastic Memories, and sought to connect the common humanity in her fandom regardless of individual personality. Meanwhile the project was a great success in experimenting with emergent art like funny little situational comedy from the model rig expressions and jilted body language. There's been similar rigmation effrots before like gdgd Fairies and Naria Girls, but Kizuna Ai project truly kickstarted this current trend of online improv humor that's come to be known as Vtubing. With its deep inspiration from metanarrative idol culture like Love Live, where the cast is very functionally applying themselves as an idol to a character, not just taking an acting gig, or how a traditional idol would be almost more like a modeling gig.

Plastic Memories was my first ever anime 5 years ago, and it's still my favorite anime with the incredible life story, loveable characters, and sci-fi like theme to this day

Just finished this days ago. God it was so sad..the first episode had me tear up so much because it reminds me of my grandma a lot..the ending broke me but thanks to you I finally knew a series anime that could actually made me 😭

I watched this anime 2 days ago. It still makes me cry everytime. I found this anime from one of your shorts. I didnt expect to cry at the first episode. The last episode broke me. I'm glad its still being talked about this year.

Yeah it hurts. I've seen somewhere over 100 anime now and no anime has made me cry like the final episode of this anime did. The way they animated the facial expressions of the guy perfectly captured a guy trying so hard not to cry. I've teared up watching an anime before but no other anime has ever made me audibly cry aside from this one.

Ngl, plastic memories is one of the few that made me cry. There are a bigger handful that have made me tear up, and only one that had me sobbing multiple times throuout... That being can I eat your pancreas... I can't even watch videos or clips from it without getting a freight train of emotions...

I finished it this week and rewatched ep 6-13. I miss Tsukasa and Isla's dynamic and their growth both personallly and their growth together. Despite how sad I felt about the ending, honestly, my mood got better. Really gives hope and learning to appreciate life and others...and make the most of everyday with every significant person in my life. I need a month to recover...

When I read the plot for Arti, it made me somewhat hesitant to watch it (because of Plastic Memories). Not sure if I'm ready for this kind of anime again. (Episode 1 started but I'm still hesitating to watch it). I've watched Plastic Memories since the Episode 1 was released and I haven't move on to this day. I still find myself tear up a bit every time I remembered it (like watching this video).

Back when I was in the military, my buddy and his wife would invite me over to binge shows with them on the weekends. I threw this one into the mix one night and oh boy, we were all absolutely obliterated. My buddy was coping hard cursing me for showing him this all while his wife and I were ugly crying on the floor.
