I'll show you how to turn the tender asparagus spears into a real culinary delight. With my recipe for fried asparagus with crispy butter crumbs, the noble vegetable becomes an extraordinary delight.
The combination of the tender, buttery asparagus and the aromatic, nutty butter crumbs is an absolute blast! The light browning of the butter develops a wonderfully nutty aroma that perfectly underlines the asparagus taste.
Here is an overview of the simple preparation:
Ingredients:
500 g asparagus
Approx. 25 g butter
Pinch of sugar, a little salt
A little pepper to taste
Approx. 50 g butter
75 g breadcrumbs
A little nutmeg
Salt carefully.
Pinch of lime zest - optional
Parsley - optional

Preparation:
1. Clean the asparagus, cut into pieces if necessary
2. Fry covered in butter and a pinch of sugar. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water if necessary.
3. For the breadcrumbs, brown the butter and fry the breadcrumbs in it. Season with salt, pepper and lime zest if necessary.
4. Season with nutmeg, salt and parsley to taste
5. Pour the breadcrumbs over the fried asparagus.
