I just moved to Houston, been wanting to go fishing at Galveston. What are those wrist bands for? Do we need to pay to fish on the pier? Nice job on the fishing, making me want to take a couple days off work and head out, fish for a couple days.

Just as a tip, you can use the claws of the fiddlers as an extra piece of bait. I always break them off and have caught several sheeps on them.

That bait shop is the best one at Galveston and they have the best prices for bait. I recommend it to everyone going fishing and need bait. Good prices for bait at that store. But be careful because when u exit the freeway is a sharp right 👍

Anywhere by the water they are abundant by the marsh area. They will be under rocks sometimes too

Its not always easy! The hard work and hours we put in has paid off and we kind of know when to go and when not to go, dont give up and keep trying! If you ever get on a good bite, keep a note to yourself on what the conditions were lile that day. Winds, tides, temperature ect..
