@@wujek7616in Scotland they made for him a cosy shed unfortunately Wojtek was on 20 000cal a day diete and was shortenage of food in general at the time.Sometimes people were helping feeding him by sharing they food but that wasn't enough so that's why they decide to gave him to zoo but before that Polish soldiers said that he must have a pool!!(Wojtek completely loves water! In sahara he will go under shower and used all the water for whole army! And was playing in!! They have to made 🔐 to shavers)..Polish soldiers were extremly crying when they left him behind and he was waiting for them everyday..thats so 😥..But when they wisit him were "breaking the rules of zoo"🤫... jumping over the fence with 🍺 and 🚬.He only take it lighted up 🚬! ...there is much more to Wojtek story!! Many of them so funny!!...This whole story shows how lovely Polish soldiers were and how much care for him!!..Also Wojtek never been trained to carry amunitions!! He must seeing how they do and start helping for a while and get bored after short while so Polish soldiers where motivating him with sweets...so he no more get bored of helping😄

My friends were with Wojtek in one department. It's a hero. One of the great characters of World War 2. This is a true story of friendship and dedication. Apparently, some dogs carried reports, but Wojtek the bear carried ammunition for cannons. He was a soldier !!

There was another bear, a polar bear, that come to Edinburgh with Polish soldiers at the end of WW 1. Look it up under: 1- The forgotten story of Baska Murmanska, Edinburgh's first 'soldier bear'. 2 - Scotland's forgotten link with WW1 polar bear Baśka. 3 - Webber unravels incredible story of a Bolshevik-fighting polar bear adopted by Polish battalion. 4 - Baśka - polar bear that lent Polish troops a helping paw. There is at list 20-30 different articles on Baśka bear.
