The issue is at this particular specimen does not produce any honey or positive outcome for humans or for the bee population, instead it kills the bee population. So it's a threat for both humans and bees, presently.

I saw a very large hornet coming out of the ground where kids were playing by an ice creamery. I stepped on it. Many. Times. It took a lot of stomping before that regular hornet died. These murderous Hornets sound horrifying 😬
