This bike was insane- 2023 sport chief test ride and review!!

This bike really caught my eye and wanted top take it for a test ride. It didn't disappoint at all a performance bike all the way through. You will have to watch the video to see what my thought are on it.

I agree with RickieKM, the thunderstroke sweet spot is between 2000 and 3500 rpm. These 2 valve head engines are designed for lower rpm, torque rich applications. You can generally tell when an HD rider gets on an Indian Thunderstroke for the first time since they are used to the higher revving M8. I make the same mistake in reverse when I ride and M8, I tend to shift to soon and fall out of the sweet spot.

At first I thought you might be coming from a sport bike, but noticed from your channel that you do ride bikes like this. The thunder stroke engine is a low revving engine, you were in the wrong gear most of your ride. Shift that thing to get in the max torque range.

It wasn’t bad when i got out of some of the traffic and able to shift but the sport mode was very responsive and had alot of torque like to take it out again where I’m not in so much traffic

They need to update there controls all those updates and they have Honda like controls

For sure the touch screen was nice but the hand controls do feel a little like a Honda like having the turn signals on one side.

@@Wessoncustoms HD's are the only bikes with left / right turn signal switches. British / EU bikes also use left side switch. I don't know of any other bike that uses two switches other than HD for turn signals.
