Only if I could make a bookmark that would make your subscribe.
Recently there has been a couple of scams floating around Roblox and Discord that involve you verifying your account using a bookmark. Now, while most people think bookmarks are harmless, they are in fact quite dangerous. These bookmarks that can hack your Roblox or Discord account actually contain code. This spooky wooky code then steals your Roblox items or discord token.
Now, since it seems like everyone falls for this scam bookmark, I would highly appreciate it if you could spread the word.

i once fell for this scam in 2021 and got my discord account hacked, the hacker turned on 2fa and changed the password, i reset the password and contacted discord but they never removed the 2fa

You should also report the account that makes the trade request by using the user id in the code, then Roblox might be able to return some of the items lost to the scam and ban the account.

@@Yes_or_Noyes12 roblox actually cares if your items(or robux) was removed or traded without permission, like the video says you have to report the user and then you will have to explain the moderators how and when this happen, you will also need to show some proof like for example the trade that removed your items, or the game pass of someone who got access to your account and purchased it with your account and robux That's how I got my 500 robux back They do care Just maybe not about gameplay but maybe if you open a support ticket they will hear.

The first time I got this scam message, I clicked on their player thinking: you know, if this game is good then I might let them use my avatar for free, then I saw that their account was deleted, which is when I knew it was a scam.

I'm afraid this happened to a friend of mine. Someone asked to do Graphics of their avatar and sent them a link to an avatar export site exactly like scam tactic #1 in this video. The person had them go into inspect element of their avatar and copy and paste some stuff into that site. All of their limited's got stolen and their account was hacked. Please stay safe out there guys.

Hello everyone! If you have to send someone your Avatar Template, its a scam, do NOT send them the template, inside your template is your *ACCOUNT COOKIE* which will take the scammers past your Username, Password, and 2FA. Just letting you know. Cya.

the thing about the "Report abuse" tab is that Roblox doesnt listen, that report would just be collecting dust. If they actually listened, there would be less scams and Pedo's on the website.

Mods do usually review reports actually, but most of the time they won't see what's wrong, or they won't notice a cleare rulebreak. I think this is cause they outsourced their moderation to India, which comes with a bunch of problems. They can't speak English fluently. And other cultural differences.

At least you'll be able to see that it executes code, and the messages websites sometimes log to warn you if you don't know what you're doing. With bookmarklets, it's just a drag and drop away, and that's dangerously simple. Except when having good CSP, but clearly roblox doesn't

I think this is how my main got hacked many weeks ago when I was doing some regular blox fruits trading over discord I clicked a link but I wasn’t logged in there and I typed my password and user but later I typed an actual email verification without looking at its origin which was from New York which was me being a damn idiot I was sad cos that account had rb battles s2 and s3 items along which other old unobtainables but I have my alt thats rising back stronger than ever i wont let this stop me and thank you for enlightening me on how it happened!

this kind of bookmark is called a "bookmarklet", a bookmark used to inject javascript code into a website. this particular one steals your password i'm guessing edit: i was completely wrong 💀

Apparently there are a few examples of useful bookmarklets out there, such as the following: 1) Dismiss all notifications when visiting a page 2) Collect contact information without having to look for it 3) Change the font (if there's a font you really like) 4) Dismiss ads automatically I don't really care for the thought of Bookmarklets either, but they function a little like an extension (except one that you have to run manually).

Roblox is actually doing some stuff to prevent those, but not perfect since they can just recreate a few of the code roblox uses for verification, but if your account has 2 step and everything it is way more secure, the changes i saw Roblox doing to stop scams were: New 2 step with Google authenticator Trades / Big robux purchases needing 2 step verification (thats why it is important to have one) Accounts getting logged out when IP is different on the same cookie and if you still get scammed you can call support to rollback your account but they can only do it once which sucks

What do you mean you "don't like ASMR"? There are many different kinds of ASMR, such as ones out there that just explain code, or code simple programs with no talking... Be careful about how you phrase things because it can come off as rude.

Bookmarklets are ironically the reason my account got hacked like 2 years ago, the scammers were so dumb they told me to put it into console but I tried bookmark as well, for NO REASON AT ALL and BOOM everything gone :/
