​@@OsheaDennis The default ofuda setting makes you throw all 8 of them in a ~1 second cast. The other setting lets you throw 2/4/6/8 depending on when you let go of the button. So, it let's you give variable amount of heals so you can work at a better tempo and do more damage

lol. Yeah duos help a ton. I was hard stuck gold 1 and actually solo climbed randomly one season to plat 2. But without the communication of some duos, it gets really hard in these ranks. I went on a losing streak the next season and now I’m back at gold 1 :) I don’t know if I’m really gold or if I can make diamond at this point 💔

This is ChaosSpawnX. I have tried Ana and end up missing terribly. This game I was more on the conservative side trying to keep that Bastion and Zarya alive. Most games I do take of angles and DPS a bit more.

@@mikewest235There's nothing wrong with the approach, it's just that, Kiriko's overall contribution suffers with this kind of gameplay. I'd still insist on you trying more Ana tbh. I just think you'd benefit more with her in that playstyle. Also, I'm a bit biased towards her LMAO Keep on playing good sir

yeah, that's the issue with mercy right now. she doesn't have the capacity to contribute independent value that 1/5th of the team should be able to contribute. she doesn't do enough healing, and damage boost isn't strong enough to overcome the healing deficit. you need disproportionately good dps in order for it to work otherwise the lack of healing, even with an Ana or Moira or Kiriko etc, is too noticeable

@sethescope yeah she's in a weird spot. Especially with matchmaking at the moment. She just needs 1 good dps. But if they buff her, it's going to make that combo even more dominant. It's absolute hell some games where you get a pocketed Cass that didn't learn how to miss and has more damage and kills than the whole lobby combined. Like obviously, that's not just mercy's fault. It's a teams fault for lack of coordination, but that's ranked. And the fact that everyone wants mercy buffed scares me sometimes lol

@@doakesanddrax I understand your point, and I'm not going to pretend as though I don't get hella annoyed by pharamercy or the pocketed hitscan who doesn't understand how to miss because it IS annoy. my perspective on it is just that the power of two teammates working together SHOULD be powerful. it's the combined resources of two people. I think the core issue is that the devs need to make a decision with mercy. either she is a support who contributes a lot of healing and some utility or she has strong utility and situational healing like Lucio. as someone who plays a lot of Mercy, I don't particularly care which way they decide but they just need to decide. if they want her to be a healing centric hero, then buff her healing and call it a day. make healing so valuable that damage boost comes second. or go the other way and maybe give mercy limited chain beams outside of Valkyrie, longer chain beams in Valkyrie, and better damage boost in ult. maybe 5% extra damage boost outside of ult and then an extra 5% in ult or something. they just need to decide and reflect the decision in the numbers and design, you know?

@@doakesanddraxI actually think the rework/changes they made in, what was it, season 3 or 4 would actually make a lot of sense right now. not the GA changes lol but the burst healing when the target is under 50%, etc. I also think her ult needs some tweaks. I would be down for 20% damage boost outside of ult but 30% while ulting. I like how flexible valkyrie is, don't get me wrong, I actually enjoy that it can be used for so many purposes. It doesn't need to be a huge flashy ult and tbh I wouldn't want it to be. But a little oomph wouldn't hurt imo, especially if the oomph is to emphasize the value of using it for the team and to reward good valk usage. but really it all just comes down to them needing to make a decision about what they want mercy to be. either make her capable of sustaining a team or turn her into a Lucio of sorts and keep her healing situational but her utility able to benefit more than one person at a time thank you for coming to my mercy ted talk, have a good day

This is console gold. Console in general is like shifted two ranks lower than PC. Console Gold is like PC Bronze, etc.

@@aidenberkshire2764I’m also top500 and by "below that" I meant the horizontal and vertical sense. With aim smoothing you can go way lower depending on the hero. I play with 70 on Rein for example
